@TurtleandCrane it does. someone made a video comparing a longbow to a daedric bow and found that it takes longer to ready, but arrows fly twice as fast and about 50% further. So think of a daedric bow like a bolt-action rifle and a longbow as a pistol

I never use crosshair but realized that Skyrim has an autoaim feature enabled when doing so. Had to use the NoAutoAim mod by Arindel to disable the autoaim totally cause it was pretty annoying hitting the wrong target all the time. If you are shooting without autoaim...its pretty good shooting, I think.
