hi hpugwashee ... going to do it on a modified 125 yamaha.... bit smaller than 1200 so ... with a bit of luck!.

Was the matter that you faced mainly to do with the engine size?

i start in Nepal in april and hope to be home by around august.... should give me 3 weeks to have a look about iran... any other must see's that i need to go to? cheers!

What bike are you going to enter Iran with?

Its not straight forward and there are CC restrictions.

I wanted to get in Iran last year on my BMW which had 1200 engine & it caused problems at the port & they were not sure how to go about it & after many calls between them & Tehran & I just called it off & returned.

The country is gorgeous & people are most lovable & sweet.
