I live in the mountains so i've kind of grown up to love the dark. But there are some occasions where I do get a little scared especially if i'm home alone and know that if something did happen, would I be able to get to the gun case quick enough!?

I think people are mostly afraid of the dark because your vision is extremely deteriorated which means you are unable to see as well. I guess it also comes with experience or perception in that most films show the horrific violent scary scene when it's dark, how often does a ghost pop out at 2pm in the afternoon, never, it's always when the person is asleep in bed OOOHHHHHH! I think the dark ties in with the fear that every human has, and thats the fear of the unknown. Thats why ghosts are scary, and aliens, and the universe itself. We just dont know all of the answers, which can really freak us out.

Not that uncommon to be afraid of the dark. Allot of people have a certain fear that exists in their life. Me for example, I suffer Claustrophobia, which is the fear of having no escape and being closed in small spaces or rooms.

I see the dark as this. There is no such thing that magical creatures are going to get you. The only thing that would is robbers or someone who is going to cause physical harm, but I see it as this... At night and your eyes are adjusted and the thing is you can see out your windows at night but who ever is outside can't see anything I think night lights is a major threat to your household at night time. Use the darkness to your advantage.

Every one is afraid of the dark. It is a normal thing. But of course admitting it is some times hard. For instance, in my own home im not afraid of the dark, that is because i know im the only one there, but i am horrified of walking in a street if it is darker than normal. Im afraid of not seen the living. On your own homes you should not be afraid, but yes else where it is normal. I am afraid of the dark, just on what makes sense to me since i don't believe on horror stuff such as ghosts etc.

When I was a kid, I had a phobia of toilets. That's right, toilets. Not for peeing, just shitting. I could only use the ones in my house. One time I was at Disney World with my family when I was around 5 years old, I held in my shit for the 3 days that we were there. No joke. I can now use any toilet, but I'd still rather use my own at home, and I only shit in other ones if it's really necessary and can't wait. If this doesn't get top comment, I don't know what will. LOL

Believe it or not these happens often. Snakes seek shelter on winter and they find their way in even if you think your home is secured. Im looking forward for when they invent a secure alarm for the toilet XD.
