i dont think you have the first lyric 100% right... the first word used is getadelt, meaning blame. criticized is kritisiert, i believe... interestingly, schoss (womb), also translates as the noun 'lap'.
@bleachfan73 It's literally "fire free", the German equivalent of the English "fire at will". You can't translate language-to-language literally and still keep the same message, especially with song lyrics. You have to account for cultural differences and grammatical difference. If you translate most lyrics literally, the songs do not make sense to an English-only speaker.
@luekdethwish I noticed alot of Rammstein's songs are about sex, masturbating, and the like. =) It's nice to know that they aren't afraid to go there and even with a few play on words, still be obvious about it. =D
@m4dmike Actually they have been quoted as saying their songs are all about different kinds of love. And the video for pussy was thought up by the director, he said hey, let's make a porn, and they say, sure! why not?? LOL.
actually to be technical after spending a 2 years on the Marine Corps base in Germany and being that my wife is German Feuer Frei-pending on how it is said means "open fire"...fire freely is a phase that is said meaning the same.....so truely translated they are one in the same but for the bands sake it is Open Fire....seeing them in concert in Berlin and talking to one of them helps.
At the beginning . RammstIEn ???? WTF !!
