@iheartbish I love your bird, he is so funny and smart! I think I will buy one for birthday (I think Im the only person in the world that wants a bird for birthday haha). Here in Brazil they sell for 600 reais (300 dollars) a tamed baby ringneck with all the legalizations and the ring with his ID. If you want him chipped it costs like 100 dollars more.
I've had my African /Indian(dont know which) ringneck for a week and a half 6 months came from a bad place any help or tips on taming her or so shes not so scared
@Vgamer88 you just need to let it know that it can trust you. be as kind as you can. don't scold it, try to pet it if it's uncomfortable, scare it or torture it in anyway. talk to it a lot. it will take time for the bird to be comfortable. tell me how the progress comes along and i can help as much as i can :)

@TheRivalConcept that's pretty cool, i didn't know they could really pick up on phrases. my bird picked up on barking dogs and sneezing hahah..so we had a parakeet who barked sometimes and would mimic someone sneezing :)
@taiba1234567890 ringnecks usually really bond to one person. so if one of you really bonds with the bird, it will help. talk to him nicely....you don't have to repeat things..you can just have a conversation with him :) don't try to pet him or force anything of discomfort on him if he doesn't like it. just show love and compassion :)
@iheartbish he now lets us touch him on the beak but he does bite so we say no to him. The poor lil guy still has panick attacks, but soon calm's down. every time he lets me touch him i offer him a treat like apples, pears sunflower seeds etc. what should i do now, its been 3 days of this friendliness (nearly!) should i try and get him out of the cage and pet him or still give him more time?
Out of all the talking bird videos I've watched, and I watch quite a few, Indian Ring Necks have the cutest voices. They also seem like very sweet birds.
@YY4Me133 O ya, for such little birds they can huge HUGE personalities. My friends ringneck plays tag and peekaboo, he also sings and dances lol. But if he ever catch's you touching his toys he'll let out a quick scream telling you to drop it, and if you don't he'll run after you to get it back.

@amourdeparis He is about 3 or 4..all I had to do was repeat a phrase over again. It takes a little while for them to learn it then become comfortable with it though.
