I think it's just the fact that as a fighter, you're supposed to try and finish your opponent.. not look for a decision. At least that's how the culture was started.. in the beginning of the UFC there were no decisions, someone either won or there was a draw. I think that's why the Gracies have distanced themselves from the UFC even though they started it.. because they feel it's not about fighting anymore but simply using the rules to win.

Judging is a problem in MMA, Dana said it himself and people have know this for sometime.
Diaz-Condit was such a close fight. A lot of fighters said Diaz won. Personally i don't know who won, cause I'm not a fucking MMA Judge.
Condit is the type of person more everyday people can relate to but Diaz is the better fighter in life, and that shit is way more interesting and exciting to watch.

I think it's just the fact that as a fighter, you're supposed to try and finish your opponent.. not look for a decision. At least that's how the culture was started.. in the beginning of the UFC there were no decisions, someone either won or there was a draw. I think that's why the Gracies have distanced themselves from the UFC even though they started it.. because they feel it's not about fighting anymore but simply using the rules to win.

No disrespect to Diaz but if anyone could KO him, it's Penn. He's damn fast, has plenty of power, and has intense killer-instinct to pounce on a fighter when they're hurt and finish them. If Penn was in the position Daley was when Diaz got knocked down, I honestly believe Penn could have finished because grabbing for ankles won't save you from a guy like Penn. So, I'm with you. I'm predicting a TKO but if it does to decision, that wouldn't shock me either.
