yea they need to make tokyo extreme racer 4 for the ps3 :) xbox has import tuner challenge that aint fair ;( they get to online battle completly hook up there cars with body kits engine parts engine swaps the whole 9 yards and we get spoiler,bonnet,and muffler?!and wtf r these cards?! . Tokyo extreme racer over any other racing game ever made.

wow thats it too bad really you know i have txr3 too and i tried to make the devil z to go at 200mph but he always die in 193mph damn is really hard to tune that car!!!! even i have a subaru impreza that goes over 220mph!!!! but the z nope!!!

Are you giving the 240z full power mods only or did you unlock the engine swap mode? 220+ should be easy if you get the L6 turbo engine for it (or whatever you want, they're all pretty high powered) and the right gearing.

believe me i have everything i finish that game 3 times in a row!!! even my trueno AE86 goes over 210mph!!!!! but i tried to mess with the devil z gear and still nothing i raised and nothing i lowered and nothing and i have all the power even i put the turbometer in level 3 and nothing you have a good gear setting so i can use it?

It is a Porsche. There are some parts where it's clearly noticable that Blackbird is a Porsche. 2:02 for example, the shape of the headlights along with the front half of the body does not resemble a Fairlady Z33.

That looks so bad ass. I haven't got a PS3 yet because I dunno which one can play the older playstation games. Plus, how do you play imports on them? I knew for the ps1 and ps2 there were mod chips but for the ps3? I know the psp was able to do it without modifications, but can the ps3 just flat out do it?

You don't need to mod the PS3 to play other region games. The PS3 is region free. And this game is awesome btw. Nothing sexier than driving over 200kmh on the highways of Tokyo and Osaka in a really tricked out Japanese sports car drifting your way to victory! :)

i bought this game from japan when it dropped last december. i can only make it to about the 5 or 6th stage where you have to outrun the skyline and the 240 datsun at the same time in the porsche 930 i keep pverheating the car and blowing the motor . i cant figure the tuning cards out either there all in japanese. a little help would be great . awsome game ,

That may be the case. However, in this game, there is a card system to tune your cars. With the card setup that I have now, I'm running the 4th version of the Devil Z at 1151PS/7600rpm.

The devil z in the early shutoko battle 0 can go maximum 425km/h,relatively 1200hp perhaps,you guys should watch the TV animation of wangan,devil z once totalled by akio when running with rena and the blackbird.Then the hell tuner fixed it and changed its engin.

hey im thinking bout buying this game cause i love it in the arcade but im worried cause denki made it, and usually denki's games are all almost identical like tokyo racer or kaidou battle. Wangan Midnight for the PS3 isn't like Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 1,2, and 3. You can't really drift in this game because the main setup of the game is more grip, though you can use the e-brake. It's more relavant to Tokyo Xtreme Racer/Kaidou Battle except you can't choose your own car to tune up. It's much easier to drive the car in Wangan Midnight compared to Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero. I wouldn't be worried about Genki, thanks to them I can play Wangan Midnight "For Free!!!" LoL

all ps3 consoles are regions free. so you can play a game from japan or usa, with eruopean games, you either need an adapter or to play in hd.

heya, I'm really thinking of importing this game. was just wandering though, is this really that fun? I mean, I don't see much turning, and even when there is a turn, I don't see any need to slowing down etc. I'm thinking of buying a racing game. Either this, motorstorm or ridge racer 7, what do you think?

It all depends on the person buying the game. I chose Wangan Midnight because it's somewhat more realistic than motorstorm and ridge racer 7. And this game is really that fun.
