Excellent Video and recitation of the sublime text. Thank you! Truly, Benjamin Franklin, together with Thomas Paine, are and remain two of the most crucial if not THE most crucial of our republic's founders. My only criticism is regarding the music: why the insipid, vapid and empty new-age noodlings? With the whole of the great revolutionary classical movement in music at your disposal, surprising that you did not choose one of the slow movements from so many Beethoven Piano Sonatas!
This video really sums up of what type of philosophy, in a sense, gov't should strive for.
Not everyone thinks alike, nor should everyone. Compromise is needed. But all of this compromise should hopefully be founded on the basis that everyone has the right to liberty, so as long as they do not harm others.
In today's world, it's easy to see our "leaders" as elitists. So, one would think that the Founding Fathers must have also been elitist. However, it becomes increasingly hard to view
Very inspiring. It's good to hear from you again. Quite a mess we've gotten into lately. These words are as true today as then. Maybe we should look back more to learn how to move forward now.
Isn't that the truth, his words are so relevant today as we look around and see so many whothink themselves infallible and that they know better than the constitution and 230 years of American History
America and its people are still remarkable to me and we'll find a way to do this life better. This is just our spot in time, a low point be it but also our duty to polish our institutions.
America will always be remarkable, and its people are survivors. Still we must be vigilant or we will find ourselves living amidst the despotic regime that we are warned of. All it takes is one generation forgetting.
Hey Roger, its just been busy. I've been trying to find work, trying to get my writing out there to hopefully make a go of something, and all sorts of other things. Plus I have been taking on a bunch of projects to keep myself busy. How have you been?
Hey Souixz, its been too long. I hope all is well with you and I appreciate that, all the thoughts and prayers I can get I take :). YOu are a good friend. God bless
Thanks, it took a bit of work, but I got every delegate to the constitutional convention I could find pictures for plus the first President, Speaker of the House, Vice President and President Pro Tempore in there. I was happy with how that turned out. :) Hope all is well with you

in particular, Benjamin Franklin as an elitist. This video, I think, is testament to that.

I have been terrifical, though a tad occupied. But, in this economy, occupied is good, right?
