  • How many volts is it

  • @mandunya 12Volt DC

  • @ChrisLuxembourg Thank you sir!

  • A sterling engine could run off of the waste heat from heatsink, or the brushless motor, and power this blower. It would cut power consumption, and/or add to your electricity.

  • Sterling engine off of heatsink might power this blower. Sterling engine require min of 350C to operate

  • that fan is very powerful for its size.

  • @rainerfilm

It works in 2 steps. Don't underestimate the power of small things!

  • @ChrisLuxembourg I can see that, where can I buy one of these fans? What is it called?

  • @rainerfilm

It's from the industrial sector. It's called "GFB0412EHS" from Delta electronics.

If you will have more space than you also can take a 12V radial blower. The motor cooling needed more pressure, but not the volume.

  • @ChrisLuxembourg "Don't underestimate the power of small things!" sounded like a pens joke if I ever heard one >.<

(Vorteil vom leisen Elektromotor weg :-( )

  • Eres genial.

No pares y gracias por compartirlo.

    Salu2.

  • Muito obrigado!

  • Ola Chris,

I was wondering as why don't you use a 12 volt system?Of course you would need amps as in batteries but all energy would be more efficient?

Less heat problems and easier and lighter battery packs?

Ev body is using 36 or 48 volt or even more can you explain why?

    Thanks and succes...

  • An average-motor has got 500watts. If you wanna take 12Volts, You'll have nearly 42Amps(12Vx41.6A=500W) and you need 10mm² feed-cable! Additional you'll need a monster-controller with 4times more MOSFETs.

If you have 36V or 48V, the current is only 13.8A or 10.4A! That you can operate with a 9-or 12-MOSFETs controller, you'll need only a 1.5mm² feed-cable!

If you wanna choose a higher voltage so you choose a higher efficiency, BUT look the regulation of your state! I've 36V, that's by law!

  • @ChrisLuxembourg

    Arrr Learning every day thanks,

Btw what config u use for the super capps and where did you get them from?do i need to put the diodes in also as you do or can i just solder a bank together and put it between my batt an my app?

i want to start first with the super capps bank as Lifepo4 Batteries are still very Crazy prices and so i can get a more smoother ride without the SLA flucts :)
