1998 was sort of a typical season for the Capitals they started off slowly but finished strong and came with in 4 wins of winning their 1st Stanley Cup

Great Season to be a Caps Fan I remember that Playoff Run like it was yesterday & watching Game 3 of the SC Finals at a Bar with a Friend of mind & we starting a "Lets go Caps Chant" & the Whole Bar getting into it & the Caps Finally Scoring in the 3rd Period & Slapping Hands with complete strangers.

Yep, '98 was the greatest year to be a Caps fan, shame they didn't the Cup, but the Wings were on a roll. I'll never forget the day Juneau scored the winning goal in Buffalo that got the Caps into the finals. Had me and my dad screaming for joy! I hope our current team can get us back there this year and hopefully win it this time!

Watching this video made me sad a little. All those names I used to know so well, a true dynasty. Sure, they never won the cup, but they had a very similar roster for many years, and they were always pretty solid. I miss those days of the capitals and of the NHL in general.
