Blizz ABS (action battle system) tutorial

HAHAHA this isn't very hard at all actually. Just google "Blizz ABS". I found the script and installed it in a few seconds. Using it takes some time to get use to but it's fun none the less!

You are a little obsessed. I usually get metal and blood and other stuff like that. But what does it have to do with a tutorial. Seesh, a lot of people are starting to crack themselves up. Why not use a mic to explain what's going on in the vid. I don't want my head to explode when I'm watching a tutorial.

when i used ABS 1 year ago i could just go and hit stuff totally free by pressig the "attack" key. Now when i hit the "attack" key nothing happends, but everything else works. Got any idéa what might be wrong?

Do you mean the event blocks your characters? Just use the through button i learnt it myself. Also if you want to get a player to another map use the "Transfer Player" then add the setting "Player Touch" and lastly "Through" so you character does not get blocked by it because blizz ABS thinks its a monster or NPC.

Hmmm... any clue how to access the characters 'menu' with the custom controls? I keep using both custom controls and default controls together so i can press ESC to access my menu.

I've got a problem. when i blizz abs is on i can't use any standart event in RM XP. this means i can't teleport to another map, i can't talk with npc's and i'm not able to doing quest. could you help me?

I just had that problem. I think its the animations, turn them off OR do what i'm doing go to Graphics\Characters and for all chars.. YES all characters you have to:

1: Copy something like 001-Fighter01 3 times then rename all 3 of them to this..

001-Fighter01_wpn

001-Fighter01_atk

001-Fighter01_crp

I'm pretty sure wpn is weapon action and how he kills or the enemy kills you.

Attack is how he firstly goes for the enemy.(not certain just learnt 2 hrs ago)

1.How do you make the enemies attack you/move around/have health

2.How do you make your character swing a sword that can damage an enemy when you press the attack button?

3.How do you make your character use skills?

This is probably really obvious but how do I change the controls? I mean I change them in the config and save it but it doesn't change them

I'm not messing with the script, well at least I don't think I am. I choose custom controls in the config that's in the game folder then save it into the game folder. It doesn't do anything. Am I saving it in the wrong place or something?

when u want to make your own controls just set CUSTOM_CONTROLS = true

DISABLE_DEFAULT = true and set them the way u want. easy

as far as i know there isn't a way to fix the lag unless you get or have a fast computer. i have a slow one and it lags for me too. i don't know what to tell you

okay mine does too. you can't use the first weapon my fix was to use the mythrol sword instead of the bronze sword and i weaken it and it worked just fine like that. i just don't think it works with the first weapon. tell me if this helps.

Sure thing. Blizz-ABS is quite a huge system, it takes time until you get the grip of all features. I'll be looking forward to the next tutorial. :)

i don't know what to make the next tutorial over lol. maybe covering the basic features and how to use them and then go to more complex

You should make it over the Ally AI, AI Triggers, AI Behavior, show how to use individual things in the config app, make a really cool boss with phases after you kill the first one, how to use events to add onto Blizz-ABS, and how you can use different skills(throwing, homing, etc..). You could also make one about use of items. There is tons to do with Blizz-ABS and tons to show :)

This shows the BASIC features of Blizz-ABS like fighting on the map. You should make more tutorials demonstrating the ally AI and other features like projectiles, skills, weapons, etc.

Also you should first show the descriptiong text and the then how it is done. The letters covering the screen while everything is going so fast in the background is hard to follow.

Just use a more readable font like Arial or Times New Roman and the tutorial will look much better. :)

this tutorial was all around hard for me to make. my computer was lagging like hell and when i was recording it. it wasn't going anywhere near that fast. and i'm just getting started using Blizz ABS, i do not know how to use some of the features yet. and i made this for blizzard becuase he told me he was getting tired of people asking him everyday for help with Blizz ABS. i will post more tutorials as i get further along with it

XAS isn't good at all, it just has a flashy demo with a few of MOG's Scripts to make it look good

Blizz-ABS is probably the ABS with the most features out.
