The achievement only applies to special infected.  Regular zombies do not count.

If they take any damage by the witch even if they didn't startle it will ruin your chances, I only mention that sometimes the witch runs by you and it looks like you took damage, but you didn't. You have to keep an eye on their health so you don't end up wasting your time if they've already been injured by a special infected.

Yes, if they injure any member you'll have to start over again. Tanks are the main reason for failures, they have incredible accuracy when throwing rocks at your party.

Essentially this achievement is probably 60% luck and only 40% skill considering that a special infected can take you out at the worst times all of the time.

You underestimate the AI director, it spawns specials and common infected anywhere, the items have set spawns but they are chosen at random.

Parts of guides are build on speculation and more over, a sense of patterns. I've managed to get this 3 times on 3 different accounts and I've seen the argument that it's all random, but I spent quite a few times trying for this, so I used my personal experience for the guide, it's not going to be the same for everyone. But the speed rush does lower the number of special infected, do a run through at a normal pace, then a run through, you'll encounter less than half the special.

@jaydraven1976 While speed running does reduce infected spawn rate, my point is that it is random. There is no way to be sure where a tank spawns and there are usually 3 different tier 2 weapon spawn points and you have to check them all to be sure that you get the weapons.

As long as you take no damage you're good. Try and keep track of your AI's health, they can be super snipers one moment, and dumb paperweights the next.

I just can't get this achievement; the Tank keeps hitting my AI teammates with rocks. They generally avoid them pretty well, but it's always at the last level that they keep getting smashed in the face. Perfect guide, though- it's helping me a lot.

i found a cool glitch on the blood harvest finale. on the roof of the house with the radio in it hide in the corner on the roof and the tank goes up the wrong side and he gets stuck in a glitch, loses control, and finnaly dies i am hoping to post a walkthroug for it so check with me later

I technically got the achievement but it was never given to me :(, and it was after like 10+ hours of trying. The AI teammates are retarded and will do anything they possible can to mess shit up, and the AI does crazy shit to prevent you from getting the achievement, even on easy. Dont think hunters cant do pounce damage and tanks wont spawn in vents just cuz its on easy. Also, hunters can startle witches, I walked up on one from a distance and he was clawin a witch repeatedly.

Yaaaay, just got it :D This method works but as you said, luck is playing a big part for example the locations where the tank spawns, how soon you get the tier 2 weapons, cuz bringing the tank down with tier 1 weapons is not easy and the chance of either you or the AI's will take damage is pretty big. So luck plays a big part in getting this achievement, and patience.

Still working on this one, but the biggest problem is dealing with the tank. Sometimes it spawns on narrow and tricky places and the bots get confused and take damage. One time I could hear the tank growling and I knew where it would spawn but that fucking asshole Louis just run up ahead and of course the tank surprised him and beat the shit out of him. I lost count on how many times I've tried without sucess.

I had a crazy ass theory on how to get the Nothing Special achievment without being so freakn paranoid and it works :D

1. Play Versus yourself/ friend on privat

2.Play as survivor and your guest controller as SInfected.

3.Play through by letting the SInfected idle.

And Boom *Nothing Special* it's easier on Crash Course. It is totaly ligit GT: Sideburns 522

i know an easier way... go to versus offline Yes you can go to off line versus just go to play w/ friends create your own lobby make sure one profile doesn't have X box live go through all parts and don't attack as special infected at all play no mercy when you spawn auto on the finale jump off the building. ANY damage to ANY from ANY SI or zombies after getting Boomed on counts! The reason why this isn't in average difficulty is because the AI will rack up the damage from the SIs killing the run.

theres a glitch ! you dont have to do the whole level!

just play online the first 4 level of any campaign on normal.when you are in the saferoom of the 5th level go back to the lobby.everyone has change his charakter to random.change the difficulty to easy and start the finale of the campaign.only in the last level you have to take no damage from special infected!
