  • So just to confirm... They're not made out of elephant tail hair anymore are they?

  • @staceykmc no...

  • @staceykmc They are made of reeds

  • What store do they sell them in cuz I can't buy it off Internet any more

  • ima buy one tommorrow :D

  • How/Where can I get one??

  • if they werent $25 id get on. i get that its for a good cause, but seriously, if you sold them for cheaper you prolly make more money. plus thered be more braclets out there generating awareness... just sayin

  • 1 Dislike?

I Think That Was A HUGE Mistake...

  • i live i the uk...can i still get one? and if so, for how much?

  • you guys can buy some, they have there own website, its invisiblechildren, com and you can buy shirts and bracelets there

  • i have all the bracelets xxx they are awesome i always wear 2 of them together and swap them around

  • they came to our school today. very moving

  • I watched a video about this today in my class..we watched the documentary about the child named Innocent,he is coming to our school tomorrow. i'm definetly going to buy a bracelet.

  • Got mine Today, such a great cause!

  • i'm definitely gonna buy one!

  • they have may more plans not just that one plus there main deal is trying to end the war. im tring to bring it to my school.

  • where is this money going to?

  • @Angelprincess- The money goes straight back to uganda and to their cause, which is used to put the children back in school. As to what company the money is sent to, I don't know.

  • That's probably the most fucked up thing I've ever heard.

You obviously don't know what you're talking about at all. How is giving unemployable Ugandans jobs not going to help? You're a fool.

  • how long has this unseen children thing been going on? And still nothing has changed. Besides mate, it isnt a fucking job. Its arts and crafts. A job would be working in a store or construction, or even farming. Charity organisations dont do shit for africa.

  • You obviously don't know what you're talking about. We've made a ton of progress in the past decade. You can't expect this to be a few-year fix. It takes decades of work to fix something in such horrible condition.

And they are using the money that they earn from the bracelets to put their country back together.

  • i have a good idea, why dont we have them set up lemon-aid stands to sell with the bracelets--that should double the income!

  • first off, its "Invisible Children"

    second...A TON has changed...

theres a bill that, if passed, will give us the right to arrest joseph koney..the man responsible for this war...

    third...

    its done a lot...

I've been into this organization for a long time, and i've raised over 3 thousand dollars on my own...this money is being used to feed, shelter, and educate these kids...

    visit the website maybe...

    watch the movie...

maybe it will show u how wrong you are...

  • @HotBlueLightning The war in Northern Uganda has been going on for over TWO decades. Invisible Children has been going on for several years, but unifying a nation and freeing the abducted children does NOT happen overnight. You don't think we're helping? I'm optimistic-and I don't see why you would try to discourage those who are actually doing something to help. If you don't believe you can make a difference, then don't bother trying. Even if we fail, at least we actually tried.

  • That is just a sick thing to say. I was just in Rwanda in June which is right next to Uganda and I got to see first hand what people in Africa go through and every little bit counts for your information...

  • my family and I worked in a imijondolo in South Africa for a summer holiday. Im not being a sicko in saying these things. I really enjoyed my work, but I know pretty much nothing changed for those people. Every little bit does help maybe one or two families, but fucking braclets are not going to save an entire nation. This commercialism is what is sick fanders.

  • It's creating work for people who would otherwise have no income. I don't understand what you're trying to say

  • youre pretty fucking thick if you dont realize volunteer work, charity, unicef, peace corps, this braclet shit---it all doesnt do fuck. These people dont want to wank off making a braclet with big smiles for the white man wholl buy it back in the states, they fucking would rather be the ones doing the buying. They want nation harmony and prosperity, and equal distribution of wealth...something braclets wont ever bring.

  • dude. seriously chill. lets be civil. those of you who responded. chill.

The bracelet campaign is more than just arts and crafts. If it was continuous arts and crafts, HotBlue, you are right. It would have no chance of being anywhere near helpful. The bracelet campaign involves a job making the bracelets, training in how to properly save and budget income, community micro-loaning organizations and buisness ventures. email me at thammill@invisible children if you want more info.

  • it helps like a tinny bit, but they need to come up with a better plan.

  • can someone please tell me were you get these braceleta at.

  • You can get them at the invisible children website. I just bought all of the ones they have to sell. I was just in Rwanda in June and seriously any little thing you can do for Africa really helps. Changing one person's life can change the world

  • i told my dad about this, he really liked it and ordered the whole set, so i have all the bracelets, i'm wearing the white one right now

  • That's cool.

  • become a part of this story and wear your bracelet today. I just got mine in the mail yesterday, im so happy i can be a part of this.

  • they showed this at my school

  • thats great.

  • I cant believe this has been going on since i was about 6th grade and im just finding out about it

  • my school brought me here through a retreat and a club at my school and we watched Emmy the story of an orphan on the retreat so I really wanta red one and its my favorite color

  • David Archuleta brought me here and I so want one.

  • yeahh... he brought me here too.... but im in indonesia... would they came here... i really want the white one,,,.. hheheheh

  • same here.

  • hey, does anyone know where we can get these bracelets? I live in Malaysia though,so if there's some sorta website that we can order it from and have it shipped here it would be soo awesome! and how much do each of these bracelets cost? does anyone know? pls tell me more about it! because i would just LOVE to help out.. only 15 though, but age is just a number i guess..

  • Yeah I'm from Malaysia too and I'm wondering the same question. David Archuleta brought me here too.

i'm so buying one...if i can find out where to buy them =)

  • what a simple bracelet!!!! and i love it!!!! and i want it!!! so much.

  • I got two!!!! Red and Blue for my school colors :D i'm gonna watch the vids now

  • I have all the bracelets, and Emmy's story is by far my favorite. I can't watch any of the videos with out crying. Though I'm not African-American, the majority of my family is from Kenya. I promised myself I would go to Africa as soon as possible, with no hesitations.

It's horrible to think that people their are dying just from the lack of clean water, while we bathe in gallons of it every day.

  • david archuleta has one of these.

  • Im getting one my dad ordered it yesterday! We saw the sunday movie at my school a few days ago, I almost cried.

  • I only wish i could buy one, but i'm only 12 and i can't get it. I'd try asking around, but that doesn't work. And I completely love Invisible Children. I'm not even kidding. I want to help so much I just can't stand it. At least I can pray for them.

  • @emopanda747

    Did you finally get one?

  • @emopanda747

    dont give up :)

im 12 years old, & i got a blue bracelet which represents Roseline. just by praying, you're giving them hope. i was amazed to see how happy they were even when they're suffering. keep praying, & let's all try to stop the war going on in Uganda!

  • umm well they are pretty pricey fosse817,

    shame on you ..

  • can't wait to get mine. i'm getting th Emmy one.

  • I wanted the brown one, sorry I can't remember which person it represents.

  • Truly amazing! Some of the youth in my church did this. They also bought and sold shirts. I still have my shirt and wear it all the time! Every time I get asked what it means I get to share the amazing story behind it.

I love how this organization was started by 3 guys in their 20's! It is amazing how 3 people can make a difference!

    Gos Bless the Invisible Children!

  • - I like how the pictures are going very fast and showing a story then random pictures.

  • Wow! Invisible Children is really amazing! You do such a good job. Get involved, youth from all over the rich countries! Together you can change history and help children.

    Keep going!!

To bad that IC doesn't exist in France!

  • wow... very depessing.

  • The bracelets come in black or red or green or white. The folder has a bracelet and the story of a child goes with each one. Or you can get a set of all four. It makes a good holiday gift or stocking stuffer. At the official website (invisible children dot com) look for 'store' at the bottom. It is a good cause and helps kids.

  • I forgot to say you get a bracelet and a dvd with each bracelet of the story of that child. Four stories total one for each bracelet color.

  • it comes in much more colors than that if people want to go check them out

  • my friend just got back from Uganda and got me the green one [grace] directly from the bracelet headquarters - the cause lies even deeper in my heart - please get involved =]

  • i want one

  • where do i get the bracelets..HELP ME PUHLEEZ

    loveit!

  • I've never seen those, where can I buy one?

  • go to their website, invisiblechildren dot com and you can get them there
