I loaded a bunch of divx videos onto a dvd. It plays fine but is there a way to set it to "shuffle" or "random" mode? It only plays in the order it was burned onto cd/dvd. In the system menu I see "random" but it is greyed-out. thx!

@webmasterd Hi, sorry about late answers. No, actually, this is a great unit. I tried one from Alpine and it wasn't as much easy to use as this one. Great sound too ( but stock Bose amp lack some power, next upgrade this summer )

Hi, I had the same trouble with the Bose, that's why I changed head unit for this one. I kept the original amp from Bose but in process of upgrading it too. The skipping was so bad, even with original CDs. U need head unit and a Metra fitting kit. Great and easy to install. Good luck

Thanks, yes, u can control ipod via head unit. Just need the cable. Check with Pioneer.

One more question (for now at least lol). I was wondering about being able to upload wallpaper. I from the backgrounds that come preloaded, you can pick a different one for the backgound of each source.

I was thinking of making my own custom background for each source. Would this be possible or can you only have one custom background used at any one point? What happens if you load a custom background, assign it to a source, and then delete that backgound and load another one?

what did you do to the pioneer to be able to play music videos while driving

Just insert a switch on green wire to a good ground. Simulate applied parking brake. Was about to install a bosch relay for "auto park" but its easier to turn off with switch when checked by cops.
