There is the Westwood Media dub which is the one that aired in other countries (it dubbed the Cell Saga and the Majin Buu Saga), and there is the FUNimation and yes, FUNimation worked on that dub (They dubbed the Saiyan Saga and half of the Frieza Saga). Which one?

@anti4kids2000 only the ocean dub is bad the only thing i didnt like about the funimation dub was that frieza's voice actors voice was a bit to raspy

@doodlemanthethrid Ocean didn't actually own it. First time they dubbed it, FUNimation owned it, second time they dubbed it, Westwood Media owned it. But yeah, FUNimation had alot of dialogue changes, that would make characters out of character. Like how when Vegeta died, he said Frieza made him evil, when in the original he was always evil and never gave a crap about his dad.

@doodlemanthethrid Oh yes they were. When Vegeta told Goku why he killed Nappa, he said that he did it because he got his ass kicked by a low class saiyan. The dub has Vegeta asking Goku to join up. Plus Goku's "don't kill him, because killing is bad" personality is overdone. Like when he told Kuririn to spare Vegeta, because he wanted him to get stronger so he can fight him again. Dialogue was added in places it wasn't needed.
