You know, for all the silliness and fun the guys have, they certainly have an evocative side. I would call Electroma a long home video, but wouldn't be at all opposed to seeing it as a quality, full feature concept. Really well done for what they had to work with at the time, and ironic how far they have come since they filmed this. Considering the incredibly loud, flashy nature of their compositions and performances, the film is really bold. (Wow... I sound like a movie critic!)

The duo known as Daft Punk are trying to look for a way to be human to be acccepted by everyone, even though they all look identical. The duo have been given masks to look human but society wouldn't accept as that either.l Thomas, the silver one, is so depressed he gets his best friend to grant him his wish, to die. Guy, the gold one tries to join his friend but to no avail. Guy then destroys his helmet and burns himself. Only humans can commit suicide so that meant they're human after all.
