  • i think that the spots to the jumps would be a lot better is you would slow down. You are letting her drag you to the fences thus resulting in a long spot.

  • could i use this clip for a horses video i would like to make? thanx!!!!!

you did good, so did ur horse! :)

  • sure, will you send me the video when you're done?

  • Nice job! I'm working on finding distances to, it's getting there. lol Lovely horse! Love the name to, Santana. :P Keep up the good work!!

  • NIce riding. I love you instructor. She's very supportive. I wish I could find an instructor that nice!

  • constructive critisizm :D. thumbs on top we ride horses not motorbikes lol, and toes in, just relax the position will come none of this artificial banana back stuff. u hav a lovely horse who is a jood jumper well done.

  • shes fast!

  • scoop the saddle.. SCOOP! But very very good for round 1... geez whoa leez

  • good luck! finding the ride is the hardest part of jumping, that's what separates good riders from bad ones!

  • lol that was great...i like how there's a random tree in the arrena...funny

    Great vid<3

  • JumperRider is absolutley right when your up to a fence pretend there is a sign there saying heels down. When you point your toes down you tend to fall forward,no offense that is what everyone does.

  • Omg I ride in rodeos I do barrel racing :D

but last year I fell off my horse on a corner and broke my leg. But noww im able to do barrel racing again ^_^

  • Oh yes, I forgot, when jumping the actual fence try to sink more in your heels. Thats the one problem of a lighter seat, its harder to focus on heels down. But really thats just about the only thing I can pick out!

  • I LOVE your seat. Most people focus so much on sitting hard in the saddle they smack their horse in the back. I prefer a more hunter seat, forward and lightly off the saddle, which you ride very well here. This lightness and steady leg show your true ability as a rider. Keep up the good work, distances are always tough!

  • Your horse is a cute mover! I love his/her canter. Is he or she an arabian?

  • ya, he is

  • I thought so. I couldn't really tell though because all of the arabians at my old stable weren't jumpers and didn't have so much muscle.

  • he looks a bit quick :P

  • really? how sucky. they r a lot of fun. i live in arizona..and i take it u live in cali?

  • yup... i just watched a bunch of mounted game videos on here and they look like SO much fun... I'm gonna set up some courses in my backyard and work on them... hope I can get my horses willing enough to slow down

  • oh really?? me 2. i won rodeo queen last year!

do u ride in the rodeos?

  • I wish, there are no rodeos around here. No rodeo queens in southern california

  • u did so good. i ride western and have only been in an english saddle a couple of times and its so not easy lol!

  • I was born western... this is about my and the horse's 7th lesson. I ride english for fun, but barrel racing is my discipline of choice

  • I agree, your lower leg does look good. And distances can be hard to "see" in just a few lessons, some people have a knack for it and others don't. But you ride really well.

  • wow your lower leg does not move ONCE in this whole video! lucky =]

  • i envy your lower leg. very good =)

  • Very cute horse! Your lower leg is pretty darn good! If you work on releasing a bit more over the fences it will help you stay off his back a little bit longer. Cheers!
