You do realize how much TORQUE electric motors have, right?

I do realize how much torque electric motors produce. However there is a misrepresentation here. The 300 lb-ft of torque provided by the electric motor is available, but it is not multiplied like a conventional vehicle through the transmission. Basically what this means is not all of that torque is being put to the wheels.

of course a TDi is better than any hybrid . Each hybrid vehicle pollutes the environment far more than any conventional vehicle and it does that not on the road, but before hitting the road. It pollutes while in the production line far more than the largest SUV.
