Thank U for your sharing your story! I find out 2 months ago that I have fibromyalgia I feel the same way u do I was in a lot of pain for a year before I went to the specialist Doctor! I am so Glad I am not the only one that is going through this!!
When u can, buy yourself the Vibrams 5 finger shoes.. That way at least you know ur standing properly from that angle.. I also have a Back Knobber so I can give myself pressure point therapy .. It helps to not have to constantly rely on other people.. Research pressure point therapy and FB stretches.. Yoga helps too.. Make sure it's beginners..
Thank you for your post.. My issues began with foot surgery as well.. 4 years of Drs & Physical Therapy and I am pretty much self diagnosing myself with FB at this point.. It's crazy how difficult it is to find a doctor that knows what they are doing and who cares to go that extra mile..
I am starting a channel to bring people with&without illness together so they can help eachother and share experiences, also i want to show that you can be positive even if you are disabled, life is tough when you are ill. Youtube helps me connect to the world as i cant go out and do much for myself but theres so much negativety and arguing. I would like to make people laugh and raise awareness about the hardships of disability&bring people together, i can speak personally about fibromyalgia.
Btw I have two children a 3 year old and a 10 month old, and I feel like I am cheating them out of a fun life because I can't figure out to deal with the pain. It makes me sad... :-(
@laurat427 I really feel your pain there. It's hard to have a social and personal life living with fibromyalgia. All the medicines make you sleepy, when you don't take them, you get grouchy and hurt too much. It's a lose-lose situation. I'm just glad I could share my story with you all. I have to make an update video to this soon. Thanks for watching.
Watching your video was like you describing how I feel. I hope things can change for you, and hopefully you can find some sort of relief. My mom still has some pain. She takes a muscle relaxer, anti depressant, and pain meds as needed. I will pray for you. Thanks for sharing your video.
Wants to do blood work for diabetes, thyroid and cholesterol. Which I understand, because I'm obese these could be cause for concern. However since I had my daughter in dec 2010 my body has changed once I got my period back in march 2011. I haven't felt like myself. Constant pain, fatigue, thinking/concentration problems, bowel problems, anxiety attacks, etc. I told the dr this and he did not seem to care. I am so frustrated as to what to do. I think I may have to go to the er like you did.
My mom has fibromyalgia, and it took years for them to diagnose her. She finally saw a rheumatologist, and she is helping my mom a lot. My mom is 55, and is trying to get on SSI because fibromyalgia makes her unable to work like you said about yourself as well. My mom thinks I may have it too. I went to my dr the other day (I have insurance issues too), and I told him what was going on. He didn't seem to care, and said being obese is what is causing some of my problems. I have IBS symptoms.
@MelissaInez85 You are so very welcome! I have to check out your video! Thanks for watching. Yes, it is very difficult, but it is good to know that we are not alone with this and always have someone to understand our plight. . . Hope you feel better soon. . .
