  • terrible audio quality. One can't hear if the player has good tone or not. sounds gravelly.

  • Does anyone know where I can get the sheetmusic for this?

  • Nice!

Check out my flugel clip and leave comments! Just search "moderndivinci" and you'll see it!

  • Ah, so he has a 4th rotary valve tuned a 1/2 step. Interesting! I always thought he used a custom 5 bell.

  • Frank plays on a custom (5?) Benge flugelhorn, and uses a custom GR mouthpiece.

  • Wow! Ugh. I never said that a flugelhorn is a second class/ part instrument. The fine work of Frank Fezishin shows that the flugelhorn can be featured well, even in a symphony. The flugelhorn is not an instrument that should be in every band; however the flugelhorn can be featured well in many bands. Many excellent bands do not have flugelhorns, and many excellent bands do have flugelhorns. UtterWin , you really need to work on the way that you express your views, your approach is very poor.

  • I agree - I'm afraid I have removed UtterWin's comment.

  • Superb. Wow, it is SO refreshing to hear someone who really gets what a flugelhorn is, and who understands how to make a flugelhorn sound correctly, including presenting its french hornish qualities.

    Bravo.

  • Great artistry! It's wonderful to hear the ornamentation done with such perfection and musicality. Amazing articulation! ENCORE... ENCORE!!!
