  • what is the type of the music which the man sings?is it classified as italian opera? what should i write in google to search more of such songs?

  • @cirithtwinvictim I think it counts more as chanting than opera

  • AC2> ACR/ACB >AC1

  • In the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

  • Comment removed

  • I sing along to the vocals even though I have noooo idea what they're saying.

    Absolutely love the ACII soundtrack!

  • Gah, I remember getting chills walking through Venice as the sun went down and under the lights of Carnival... art.

  • I lost my dog, played this 2:05 while looking over form my window, and found him.

  • 2:07 lol view point

  • i think pretty much everyone's favorite is AC2 of all ^^

  • AC2>AC1>ACB lol

  • need to play this game agaain

  • I dunno why ACB Hasn't been posted as first but considering it's the first of the series where you can sporadically throw GIANT F**KING AXES AT PEOPLE I'd say it's the top of my list. That and the ability to chain-kill which didn't happen until ACB Either. I also have yet to play revelations but so far it's B>2>1

    1 was just kinda annoying.

  • @DrumAtMeBro yeah because I played ACB then AC2 then AC1 I was really pissed off every time I died

  • AC2 is greater than than ACR which is greater than ACB which is greater than AC1...So SHUT UP ALREADY.

  • I think the best storyline the game had was in AC 2. It is so strange replaying AC2 after I have seen Ezio old in ACR :'( I miss him already..

  • Game-wise: AC2>AC1>ACB>ACR

    Story-wise: AC1>AC2>ACR=ACB

  • @ArunTheCoolestGuy AC1 had a story? It was the worst one if it did. AC2 was the best with story. I felt ACB was the best for new game mechanics, introducing a better lighting system and combat too. Overall, AC2 was my favourite.

  • @multimaxstudios then u r a noob

  • @multimaxstudios Dude, have you even... Nope, not worth it.

  • @multimaxstudios ac1 has the best story , since it is the introduction to the franchise . ac2 has the best CHARACTER story . acb and acr are done to improve lighting , shadows , graphics and mechanics for ac3

  • 2:07 Viewpoint Synchronization =D

  • Beautiful stuff! Quiet similar to City Of Rome x)

  • OMG NOOBS NOOBS NOOBS NOOBS NOOBS NOOBS NOOBS NOOBSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ITS AC1 THEN AC2 THEN ACBRHD AND THEN ACR -.-.Learn to follow whats happening in the intros etc.....

  • @firzen486 they're talking about like, the order of how awesome the games are, not the order they came out in

  • @sirtwinklefingers agree!

  • Who gives a crap, they're all good games!!

  • Omg its not ACR>ACB It IS!!!!!!.....AC1(ALTAIR)>AC2(EZIO BECOMES ASSASSIN)>ACB(EZIO AND RECRUITS)>ACR(EZIO AND ALTAIR+Assassins too).....

  • It's beautiful.....so....mind-numbingly beautiful....... Just listening to this, takes me to 1475 Venice in a trance.

  • Talking too much... enjoy the music

  • Talking too much, enjoy the music

  • Talking too much, enjoy the music

  • Talking too much, enjoy the music

  • This song is the only reason I love assasins creed

  • Actually I believe ACB>AC2>AC>ACR

  • @avian12311 are u retard? it AC>AC2>ACB>ACR

  • Ita. Beautiful

  • AC2 > AC1 > ACR > ACB

AC2 was the biggest jump in the series thus far. The cities were bigger, there were more of them, there was more to do, and the story and characters were great. The reason AC1 comes next is because even though as the origin of the series it had less content, the story was great and as an assassin game it relied more on planning and taking it slow than running in with gadgets.

ACB comes last because it seemed to be simply a filler in terms of gameplay and mechanics.

  • I'm making an AC soundtrack playlist that will lull me to sleep. Hopefully the dreams it carries me into are worth of the music.

  • one of my favourite OSTs!!

  • 22 People fell into my knife 22 times.

  • ACB>AC2>ACR>AC1 AC3?????????????????????????!

  • Soul orgasmic <3

  • This will definitely be in my fine dining Italian restaurant. First 100 people who like this comment will get a FREE entree and dessert!

  • @RagingBerserkerr how the fuck will you understand who liked it? :D btw i commented to you so add me to your list buddy hehe))

  • this song gives me shivers , seriously .

AC2 is the game with the best soundtracks ever .

  • Oh my... AC II has the best Sounds ever... this one... it just flies you all around Venice channels and roofs.. amazing is the word!

  • very very very beautiful music

  • I remember this song being nicer when I actually heard it in ac2. Is that weird?

  • Its incredibly. I dont listen that style. I think opera etc. but when I hear that so everething go away ...

  • 2:10

    -Syncs-

  • I hate that people answer to my comment "correcting" MY opinion about Assassin's Creed games, its MY OPINION ok? please

  • 2:06 slow-mo viewpoint synchronised!

  • This music makes me flying in the sky...

  • This Song makes me want to visit venice.

  • AC/AC2/AC:B/AC:R >

  • I personally belive ACB was the best one then 2 then reveleations then number one. If assassincs creed 2 had brotherhoods combat and the horses in the city and the ability to replay missions and it would have been a ten out of ten for me.

  • @incognitobfd You see, you are saying it by yourself, ACB was just an expansion of AC2, I believe there is more merit in making such a master piece (considering gameplay+storyline) as AC2 which was started from zero, than in just modifying it a little bit so that its gameplay was more enjoyable (ACB), imo.

  • This is one of my absolute favourite songs from the series. I used to do nothing but jump across the rooftops and listen to this song over and over.. It's incredibly beautiful.

  • ACB=ACR=AC1=AC2...I just love them all so much, I cannot choose between any of them.

  • LOVE THIS GAME

  • AC2 > ACB > ACR > AC1

  • @Shaqkill14 I cant believe there is so many people overstating Brotherhood, the most relevant aspect of it is that it brought the multiplayer format, but in fact thats pretty much all, since all they did was add some epicosity to the combat in singleplayer and the story isnt greater than AC2 nor ACR. If I have to choose between ACB and ACR I definitely stay with ACR. Long live Ezio Auditore :)

  • @federicopolisha I forgot to make my podium :P

    It would be, imo: AC2>ACR>AC1>ACB

In order to how amazed I feel while playing them, above all.

  • @federicopolisha You're responding to yourself...

  • @TheKwittykwat haha yeah it was a postscript :P

  • @federicopolisha Maybe everybody just liked a lot recruiting new assassins in brotherhood.. idk. I better leave now, im spamming all over the place :$

  • @Shaqkill14 100% correct IMO

  • By the way, there is a piece by XV century Polish composer Jan de Jasienna - Celebris Dies Colitur (check on YT). Very similiar mood - both for solo voice and period instruments. Worth of listening.

  • AC>(AC-0.000...1)

  • this song brings a tear to my eye, really beautiful

  • I actually really loved AC1 and I don't get all the hate it and Altair gets. And I seriously don't get how people can actually decide between Ezio and Altair either, I love them both..

  • @CherishMyDestiny Agreed. But still ACR brought more depth to Altair's character than AC1 did.

  • @CherishMyDestiny on more than one occasion i heard that he was hated coz he was arab

    crazy right

  • AC2 > ACR > ACB > AC1

  • @xDchannel12345 AC2 is the best, AC1 is the worst, torn between the other two

  • @gillri I like more Revelations than Brotherhood

  • @xDchannel12345

    AC2 > ACB > AC1 > ACR

It really depends how you rate them though, because in terms of mechanics and gameplay themselves, ACR would be the best. However, in terms of creating the amazement, beauty, wonder, and nostalgia synonymous with this song, the above would be the best.

  • @dudesonman4200 I think that wonder factor is really important in this series.. I feel like ACR lacked it mostly because the soundtrack was so bland compared to the other Ezio-related games. There was great music when great things occurred, but at no other time (like just exploring). ACII & ACB are definitely more my favorites.

  • @jennis233

Jesper Kyd actually did not compose the soundtrack for ACR. Call me crazy but I think that may have had a little something to do with the "blandness."

  • @xDchannel12345 AC=AC2=ACB=ACR

  • @xDchannel12345 ACB > AC2 > AC1 > ACR

  • @Max0Inq Totally agree, I can't understand why Brotherhood is so overlooked, it was by far the best game in the series so far and with the best ending.

  • @ZenMaster1992 I just loved the colors in ACB - like renaissance paintings. And very "noble" mood compared to bon-vivat AC2. It's easier for me to get in role of more mature Ezio with some serious views on life than childich Don Juan young Ezio was. Besides AC2 was quite boring towards the end (except Bonfires of Vanity - great DLC!).

Revelations - Prince of Persia with Assassin flavor.

  • @Max0Inq

Are you trying to say that Revelations was shit?

Hahaha just having a dig at Prince of Persia. :P

  • @xDchannel12345 AC2 > ACR > AC1 > ACB

  • @xDchannel12345 AC1 was the best one.

  • @upq700hp I agree AC1 was the best one because it was the purest form of the idea, the combat was brutal but required wit and skill unlike now with the autostreaks and BAM win button.

I thought AC2 was the second best simply because it was so refreshing compared to 1 but ACB and ACR are just short tarted up clones of AC2. Good in their own right but certainly didn't bring in anything new or interesting.

  • @darthkahn45 Exactly, my only real reason for playing them was the Story, which is still brilliant.

  • @upq700hp AC1 was the worst one. Reppetative missions. No customisation (Armour, weapons, robes etc.) slower parkour, and the combat system was boring with very little counter moves and just had a far more boring story. We didnt know a thing about altair or desmond. AC2 had a better story, better missions, more advanced combat and 2 HIDDEN BLADES GODAMMIT!

  • @Airlessarab We didnt know a thing about Desmond? Are you fucking kidding me? In AC2 they gave a fuck about Desmon. He pretty much first appeared in Revelations again...

  • @upq700hp in AC1 we didnt get to find out anything about him it wasnt until ACB when we actually started to actually learn about desmonds story

  • @Airlessarab What the fuck man? There was like nothing in them. Not sure if trolling, or just stupid...

  • @upq700hp "there was like nothing in them" That makes perfect sense

  • @Airlessarab In AC1 we learn basically everything about Desmonds past, the next games follow up on the actual plot but not his history and Revelations explains in a little more detail and that's it.

  • @xDchannel12345 AC2 > ACB > ACR > AC1*

  • @xDchannel12345 Interesting. My opinion is a bit different: AC2 > AC1 > ACB > ACR I wonder if there's a list somewhere of which games were liked most/least of the AC series.

  • @xDchannel12345 I think AC2 > ACB > ACR > AC1 Personally, but with a close run between acr and acb.

  • @xDchannel12345

    AC2 > ACB > ACR > AC1

ACR was very disappointing for me.

  • @xDchannel12345 brotherhood was better than revelations

  • @xDchannel12345 Wrong!

    AC1 = AC2 = ACB = ACR > Epicness

  • @ThiMTerry you forgot AC3 is coming out soon :)

  • @xDchannel12345 I do hope you're saying that by matter of gameplay and 'mission's, not storyline.

It's all one big story, split into 5 different parts.

  • @GottaloveMuse1 5? AC3 is not out yet

  • @xDchannel12345 Yes, but they're working on it.

  • @GottaloveMuse1 Until November we'll know if Desmond story ends there : /

  • @GottaloveMuse1 And I sorted them by the story of the character Desmond relives, I know it's one big story, the story of Desmond but in this case I was refering to the story of Altaïr and Ezio

  • @xDchannel12345 Ahh, fair enough.

  • @xDchannel12345 Really ACR > ACB??? How can anyone think that. Rev was a rehash.. very little revelations.. no lucy + no subject 16 explanation.

  • @LongBow1600 replay the game and search well for the Revelations, there were like 7 revelations

  • @xDchannel12345 all AC > world

  • I experience it and the whole story about him and about all the characters from the game .

  • AC2>ACB>ACR>AC1

  • AC2 > AC1 > ACB > ACR

  • 2:05 - 2:25 VIEWPOINTS !!! :D

  • I love this!

  • I love this!

  • I love that sound

  • I just like the grin under the shadow of his hood, he smiles when he kills someone :) hahaha

  • AC2 have the best ost of all

  • I want this dream to never end.

  • sitting out at 3 am, trying to spot the meteor shower. Looking at the clear starry moonless sky. Listening to this. Forgot why i was sitting here in the first place. Hauntingly beautiful.

  • @dhruvdnar while i read this type of comments and listening to this music i always have goose bumps

  • i miss running through venice at night

  • Well Jesper Kyd! If the next AC game contains songs like this i dont give a shit about the story,

Just give me the setting Phoenox described...

  • What a beautiful dream...

  • @ThulianPink Great isn't it? Nice to sit back and just unwind listening to it.... oh wait you need to go and kill some people.

    Off you pop then!

  • Thank you Peopleisgta, do you know the name of the original song/ prayer (OK probably Agnus Dei, but maybe an album or something)? I dont't think that Jesper Kyd has booked a gregorian choir and produced it from scratch.

  • I think that if I ever go to Venice, I will have to attempt to climb all the buildings there...

Hell, the police (Templars) can try and catch me!

  • Unbelievable! assassins creed 2 soundtrack is the best gaming soundtrack ever if you ask me

  • I'm Italian! It has been a great emotion to play a game which shows italian cities. Simply amazing. As this song: amazing. I could listen to these notes eternally. So full of magic.

  • 1:32 is AWESOME!! :D

  • Grazie Ezio Auditore di Firenze, fate tutto il mio essere di nuovo. Yeh, im italian, no translate

  • @SPQRPaxRomano I know someone who has an Italian/ German family! :P

  • @SPQRPaxRomano Ezio Auditore da* Firenze.

  • Dulce venezia

  • Aaaah....Venice

  • @Sulimaaren Indiana Jones reference. lol

  • 2:07 VIEWPOINT

  • Lets form a brotherhood.Remember creed is you, something you have from you birth till your death.Nothing is true, everything is permitted.Vivere Fratellanza, ha vissuto il credo.

  • @VideoGameNews145 I think the best way is that you somehow get a hold of the movie "Assasin's Creed: Embers". I got it with AC: Revelation's Collector's edition... Pretty freakin nostalgic to watch.

  • @gr8tsilby THAT MOVIE MADE ME CRY!!! He..Died...

  • @ 2:20 The viewpoint syncing music...

  • @VideoGameNews145 yes exactly the first was ok but got repetitive, Brotherhood was good but not as good as this and Revelations was really really good but still falls on second best behind this one.

  • Comment removed

  • This was definitely the best in the series.

  • @VideoGameNews145 nah, he dies in embers though

  • Press 2:07 to sychronize

  • Some people take this game too seriously.

  • @xMissVesper hahahaha Yeah in the end...its just a game :(

  • @xMissVesper because it is amazingly epic. hey, a question, are you a bond fan, i noticed your username is miss vesper...Im a huge Bond fan!

  • @harrycarlitos91 Actually I've never even watched the movie. I've always wondered why when I googled Vesper either an alcoholic drink would come up or some chick. Lol.

  • @xMissVesper Kinda true... I admit I've taken the game too much into myself... But if you really follow it, and not just the main storyline, but the side-things aswell (Glyphs, etc) and pay good attention, the game has one of the greatest philosophy I have ever experienced... It pretty much opens your mind a lot if you understand it.

  • Revelation is AMAZING but this was the best... well brotherhood. BUT STILL OSIM POSIM MUSIC

  • Everyone watch AC: Embers

  • I could totally see Luc Arbogast singing this

  • "Hey, I think I've seen that guy on a poster on a ten story building facing toward the canal, covered by a balcony and a platform......"

  • I clothe my eyes, I listen to this music, and I see myself in a street of Venice: it is the night, the only light come from the fireworks in the sky, and there is a strange feeling in me, between sadness, joy and melancholia... what a wonderful dream.

  • i truly loved italy before beciuz im italian n da country is beautiful bt now thanks to this game i love it even more i would love to be an assassin n to be as great as ezio auditore -_-

  • @TheLadyrandom101 You are lucky because you have at least 1 motive to love your country. I am brazilian, my country is really violent compared to other countries, politics are so stupid they don't even know whats going on here, ppl starve in poor regions of Brazil while politics only care about the World Cup. It makes me soooo sad. At least my great-grandmother was italian (Venice). So I feel proud every time I say my last name and say: There are 2 letters Z bcause is italian :D

  • Assassin's Creed make me LOVE ITALY ^^

and this soundtrack trully is beautiful

  • @mierkahvoelry Ahahah, I was doing exactly the same! "Oh, I'm Leonardo's friend! Oh!" I couldn't believe it! :D

  • @mierkahvoelry i did love italy before it thats why i played it but is a beutiful game and the soundtrack takes you more in the game !

  • Video games such as this are works of art. The music is perfect, and it has a rich storyline, with wonderful graphics that get even better with each game.

  • assassins creed changed my life

  • @ghostface660 Always and forever... :')

  • @MusicBabeStar hey AC2 is the best

  • @ghostface660 Yes, I totally agree. I played AC (ok, something like 15% of the game xD) and my first AC game was AC2, I finished AC2, Brotherhood and Revelations, and it fulls me of joy. Somehow, the story is way more intense, all the feelings, the way that revenge
