  • Ugly aircraft but all the A380's have a nice interior.

  • As a passanger I must admit. A380 is perfect plane.

    Last month I flew PRG-DUB (A330), DUB-BKK(A380), BKK-CNX(A320), CNX-BKK(MD82), CNX-BKK(A320), BKK-DUB(A380), BKK-PRG(A330).

And yes - I am alive. And yes - I felt safe and comfortable.

  • IMPRESIONANTE EL AVION DE COREA AIR ...... ESPERO QUE PRONTO TENGA UNO ALGUNA DE LAS LINEAS AEREAS DE MEXICO ..... SALUDOS!!

  • If I am being absolutely honest, I'd feel more comfortable in a 747 8i. They look much better! Plus, the A380 doesn't seem the safest - cracks on wing and aircraft, engine malfunctions and bumping into planes.

  • B747-800

  • now i feel thirsty... lets order sum pepsi shall we?

  • I kile Qantas' livery a lot more, makes the A380 looks bigger. Lufthansa's livery makes it look smaller :/

  • I would love to see a 1080p version of this video!

  • scarebus

  • @DAVIDx41 nope airbus... if boeing im going!

  • When i think of korean air i think of pepsi

  • @huzayfahLOL hahaha...you're right.!!..it's logo is like PEPSI..!

  • @mac215345 Lool!

  • @huzayfahLOL you're not all alone, i'm thinking the same way LOL

  • I can't wait for Korean Air to deploy its A380 to Seoul-Frankfurt & Seoul-London route :)

  • guys...that is big

  • dont forget flight 801 where they killed almost every passenger.

  • One of Korean Air's first A380s had an accident on its FIRST flight: The pilot scraped the wing-tip on the run way! I don't like Airbus planes. They rely on automatic flight controls in normal flight, and manual controls in emergency situations. Boeing aircraft are the opposite: Manual in normal flight, and automatic in emergency situations. When Qantas A380 had their problem that one time, it took the pilots 3 HOURS to figure it out according to the manual procedures...while flying!

  • @mlovmo Oh shut up on things you don't understand about.

  • @Snafu320 Please explain to me that which I don't "understand about". I was stating a FACT and my opinion of that fact (which my brother-in-law, an airline pilot, told me). Is that okay with you? I don't have the right to state my preferences here? You can disagree with me and I won't tell YOU to "shut up on things you don't understand about".

  • @mlovmo Oh your brother in laws a pilot, how convinient... The pilots wern't flying around for 3 hours trying to figure out what was wrong, their fucking engine had blown up of course they knew what was wrong. They were flyinhg around for 3 hours dumping fuel. You can't land a fullly loaded A380. Just becuase you THINK it's a fact doesn't make it so. Airbus is more than a flying computer and their philosophy is much better than that of Boeing.

  • @Snafu320 Of course, you're wrong: It took them 3 hours to figure out the proper manual procedures to handle the emergency, it wasn't just about dumping fuel. If you think Airbus is better, that's your opinion. Congratulations...you know what they say about opinions.

  • @mlovmo It didn't tkae them 3 hours to figure of what to do. Have you ever heard of a QRH?

  • @mlovmo to put it ina simple way.. When hand flying an Airbus all the computer is doing is telling the flightcontrols what you are doing, it will only take full control again if something went badly wrong.

  • glad korean air have a380!:)

  • Airbus...ugh! Even the name sounds dumb.

  • @mlovmo who cares?

  • I took the first class of a380 of Korean air.

  • Vietnam Airlines is gonna have A380 soon by 2015

  • @KatiushaVN4 The plane is already outdated and obsolete, it will even be more outdated by 2015

  • @prohelipilot1

It's not like you order a burger or a bowl of noodle that you may have your order in 5 or 10 minutes. However, this is a plan, the biggest plan in the world. Not to mention we have to "get in line" to order that giant plan. Vietnam airlines placed her order around in the late 2009 and early 2010

  • @KatiushaVN4 That does not change the fact hat they have only orders for 236 planes, nowhere near what they had predicted, they need to sell over 700 A380's to break even on their investment and in 10 yrs they have only sold 236. The aircraft is a failure

  • @prohelipilot1

Airbus is on the progress of making more and more A380 as the world needs those capable planes. Compared to A380, B747 is just a joke. B747 should be in museum of aviation by now.

  • @KatiushaVN4 They have not sold enough to make money on this the plan , its sales are a flop, say what you want but airbus annot sell the A380, apparently nobody wants it but you

  • @prohelipilot1

No-one wants it???? LOL Gimme a break! I can name whole bunch of the airlines in the world using this aircraft, and more airlines are gonna have it as well.

  • @KatiushaVN4 No you can't, there is only 54 delivered to date and 236 sold.. You are no aviation expert, not even an enthusiast or you would know. They were hoping to have close to 1,000 aircraft sold before the first one flew and they have been flying for 6 years now. It's range and payload are not what they are supposed to be, its emissions are higher than predicted. Airbus has already sold more A350's than A380's and it won't be flying until 2016

  • @prohelipilot1

I don't care as long as they give our airlines (Vietnam) A380 by 2015 and that's the due date...hehe

  • @KatiushaVN4 good for you

  • @bbballcard don't be spreading falty information. the logo is called taeguek. arirang is a folk song.

  • its so amazing~~~~~ *___*

  • Finally at least a goddam commercial that shows that the men and women spend hours making this beast and giving credits to them... Korea is my country and I LOVE IT =) HANGUG HWAITING!

  • I was there on its delivery flight!

  • @bbballcard Ok

  • that awkward moment when you want to go to korea... just for the flight. (but they do have other places too.)

  • YEAH MORE PEPSI!! The Pepsi plane, Excellence in Fizz.

  • Korean Air will be using the A380 on their New York flights? Will they still be using their 747s though?

  • Do they serve Bulgoki? I want to eat Bulgoki ^_^

  • I find it pointless why the text at the end of the ad is all in Korean and the voice over is in English. It would have sounded a lot more badass if were in Korean!

  • I FIND IT FUNNY THAT ALL THESE EURO TRASH ARE ARGUING ABOUT WHERE THIS PLANE IS MADE, WHETHER IN GERMANY FRANCE OR ENGLAND, THEY CANT MAKE THEIR MINDS UP.

  • @char1eston was actually made in all the countries you've mentioned. Wings are from North Wales and Bristol in England, parts of the fuselage are from Germany, the belly and other sections are from Spain then all these parts are transported to Toulouse in France where the final product is assembled from the pre-made parts and then is painted in whatever livery. Engines come from manufacturers such as Rolls Royce for example.

  • That is not a teasing comment. I still like the colours

  • Why did they paint it light blue. The white fuselage looks so perfect like airbus, airfrance, singapore airlines, qantas, lifthansa and emirates

  • I saw this exact plane in the Airbus factory in August last year, Beautiful!

  • WoW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • MADE IN FRANCE !!

  • @RafaLisbon1986 Made in Germany xD

  • @HamburgAirport "...From there, the A380 parts are transported by barge to Langon, and by oversize road convoys to the assembly hall in Toulouse. After assembly, the aircraft are flown to Hamburg Finkenwerder Airport (XFW) to be furnished and painted."

Made in France, painted in Germany

  • @RafaLisbon1986 Made in Germany and France

  • @HamburgAirport actually your wrong, it's assembled in France, parts come from all over the world. I.E Wings are made in the UK

  • @smeghead1978 the part come from all over the world, but there put together just in Hamburg and Toulouse.

But for example the A318, A319, A321 copletely built in Hamburg.

  • Korean Air A380 routes:

    Tokyo

    Hong Kong

    Bangkok

    New York

    Paris

    Los Angeles

I cant wait to fly it from New York - Seoul :)

  • Go Airbus - Great way of using this new AC's space... makes me want to go to Korea!

  • okay im only gonna say this once... PEPSI PLANE A380 = NEAT !!!!!!!! PRONESS!

  • COOL

  • WOW..!!

  • KOREAN AIR -SHIMIDA!!!!!!

  • korean air's livery is one of my most favourites!!!!!!!!!

  • Ah! The A380s are finally here?! Nice!

I used to ride KAL's 747-400s for trips back to Korea.

I remember that in ads like the one that I found in my dad's study, "Korean Air bought the new Super Jumbo Jet 747-400" ad and I glimpse back to the days were 747 was still Queen of the Skies. Now A380s are coming in and it seems 747s might get replaced by A380s... probably...

  • Simply beautiful. No words explain the sheer grandeur of this beauty. The Korean Air livery is probably best color scheme that matches the A380s we've seen so far in operation.... certainly beats the Emirates, Singapore, Lufthansa etc......

  • Great!! Which route will this this A380 fly

  • @mamatslack New York, LA, Tokyo, Hong Kong

  • AWESOME!!:)

  • their logo looks like pepsi's

  • @323tiim No! Pepsi's logo looks like Korean Air!

  • @floridafishingo sure, what ever..

  • @floridafishingo Good One.

  • @floridafishingo which comes first? Korean Air logo or Pepsi logo? ^^

  • @Njoyflying idk, but which came first? Korea or pepsi?

  • @floridafishingo Korean Air was founded in 1962 and Pepsi changed its logo like what we know today in 1970. So Korean Air is the FIRST! Pepsi is second.

  • @Shipocute Yeah! And the circular shape represents the Korean border, when the did the Korean border start? 1953!

  • @Njoyflying I would say Pepsi baboyaㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

  • @Njoyflying Korean Air logo came from the National Korean Flag and the National Korean Flag was founded around 1880-90 which means 130 yrs old.

  • @floridafishingo NO IM SORRY BUT PEPSI BEEN AROUND LONGER THAN KOREAN AIR, SO KOREAN AIR LOGO LOOKS LIKE PEPSI LOGO.

  • @char1eston What about the korean flag? ever thought about that u stupid pathetic rangatang monkey.

  • @char1eston no you dumbass. The Taeguek symbol on korean air has been around for centuries.

  • @floridafishingo Pepsi is made by koreans lol

  • @floridafishingo lol thats why my friend says 'oh look i mean that pepsi air a380'

  • Comment removed

  • @323tiim it's a yin and yang symbol. idk why the hell Pepsi took that for its logo

  • @tokee1234567 Sure..

  • @323tiim Looks like you are having a HUGE mistake my friend... Korean Air was FIRST! In 1962, they kept those colors up and high and it is proud symbol of the nation! Pepsi's red & blue "yin yang likish" colors were adopted in 1970.

  • @Shipocute Jeez man! Everybody just keep spamming me, about how Korean was first, and I DONT CARE!!!! I just looked at the logo, and was drinking a Pepsi.... My comment is right, its does look like Pepsi, but i didnt say enything about, that Pepsi came first or anything!!! So dont say i have a problem, because there was NOTHING in my comment, that where wrong!!

  • @323tiim Yeah, there is. Your spelling and grammar are wrong :)

  • Nice video, KoreanAir has a nice color scheme

  • It's nice to see a airline advertising using it's aircraft. Far to often now I feel airlines forget to give credit to the aircraft that fly for them. Without the aircraft there would be no airline. Glad to see Korean proud of it's new beast! Good commercial!

  • @sla31 All airlines have planes, but not all airlines have great service.

  • @imafreakinsubscriber That's very true. :)
