  • would also appreciate a similar visual instead showing DNA replication--and also transcription.

  • this is a good quick simple visual to use when beginning the discussion of protein synthesis with younger students.

  • lacking an E-site :/

  • I think it was good bcuz I just learned this in class and just couldn't remeber how the process looked all the other videos were wayyyy too complicated for my level and i didn't get half the stuff the said. This video jus recapped wat i learned in class

  • This is pretty funny the way you used vegetables, BUT could have definitely worked with more narration.

  • watch 'from DNA to Protein' and this makes 100% perfect sense :P rli good simple way of viewing it

  • SO informative LOL

  • lol r u outta ur nutss??? idiot

  • i think it is the bbc site that has a slowed narrated version of this.

  • the problem with this video is that it appears as if the mRNA is moving to the left, when it's actually the ribosom moving to the right.

  • those are scary looking amino acids

  • @tonyisag- I'm gonna bind my COCK to you PUSSY site

  • THIS VID MADE ME LAUGH! COS ITS SO CRAP!

  • This IZ crap didnt help once!

  • this is actually not correct, there are three binding sites on the tRNA, this shows only two. A site, P site, and E site

  • @tonyisag There are three binding sites on the rRNA (A, P and E sites) not on the tRNA. There are only two binding sites on the tRNA, the 3' acceptor stem which binds the amino-acid and the anti-codon which binds to the mRNA.

  • woohoo. BIOLOGY 4 LYF!!!!!!!!

  • it would have been better with SOME narration

  • this is the only video that actually makes sense to me. 5*

  • funny to watch^^

  • lol

  • incomplete ^ 10

  • Was the last one a stop codon.

  • yes, but this vid isn't good, see another one :)

  • nah, just some losers that don't have anything better to do...

  • this was helpful=]

but i still dont get it=[

wish ,e luk on my exam tomarro=]!!!

  • hope you did well no your exam

  • did you pass ?

  • that pretty sums it up

but it's pretty useless i have to say

  • very much helpful...great visual!!!

  • Very Incomplete

  • thats actually helpfull but they should label the rna, trna, mrna, etc.

  • could do with some narration and could be longer

  • i like the chicken drumstick used at the end to act as the UAA stop codon, obviously this cell was fresh out =D

  • This is a pretty good vid, but there are some errors. the amino acids dot go over the ribosomes, they go thru them, and this takes place inside the ribosomes, not outside.

    but, good idea

  • I think they were trying to show you what happens inside the ribosome. Maybe they were folding over the small subunit of the ribosome to show the inside of the ribosome; to show the P and A sites and how the tRNA's anticodons bond with the mRNA's codons to create the specific amino acid sequence.

  • that could work...
