Both Vedder and Lennon were part of a new musical generation, and quite frankly Eddie is the fucken man. But to be fair Vedder doesn't hold a candle to John Lennon's muscial geneious and sheer creative ouput. AWESOME video tho!

I think it's because it's a soundtrack to that movie... when they made it they thought they were going to be able to use the original beatles songs, but eventually found out they can't (copyrighted).. so they had to re-record all the songs....and keep the music synched to the movie so.. dunno, just my guess.
