  • nvm, figured this was from frehley's comet album, I wish i could download this version as an mp3

  • what album's this from?

  • whats the point in trying to guess what the song if you have it writen in the title?

  • like it nice sound

  • Paul and Gene have been busy clicking "dislike" on this video LOL!!!!

  • i think car jam is a lost version of breakout, writen by Ace and Eric i'm i right ?

  • @Beetlejules35 yeah youre right ace and eric wrote it together that why whenever ace plays breakout he dedicates it to eric theres some roumors that it was supposed to be for erics solo kiss album

  • @billgeezeriommi carr jam was recorded during the elder sessions.

  • Anton is a very best drummer, rip it out is my favorite song ever !!!!

  • fuck off tommy thayer

  • Stupenda, io me la ascolto sempre in macchina

Super song...I listen this song very often in the car

  • Why at the end of the Kiss "Revenge" album that they have this song listed as "CARR Jam"? Can somebody explain!

  • @keyringer this song was made by Ace and Eric Carr, and what they named Carr Jam was the demo of this song without the vocals and with a drum solo by Eric

  • He was KISS' edge. This is proof.

  • When the song starts you see a message who plays what but Anton Fig isn't there lol.

  • This song is SICK! It's from Frehley's Comet back in 1987!

  • anton rules!!!!!!!

  • such a bad yet good vocal!

  • This is good, but theres no beating the original 4 Kiss members in the early 70's. Their chemistry in the early years was amazing. anyone that was around in the 70's knows what I'm talking about. They were larger than life at the time. Ace proved his point with the first solo record as to what direction the band should have went. Those songs sound just as good as anything out there today. That album was ahead of its time in "78"

  • Ace Frehley rocks and Anton Fig is the best drummer out there

  • This sounds awesome!!!!!

  • this one is so exciting that i can' help but think what those 9 people that clicked the dislike-button want.

by the way i didn't know Scarlett and Fig had played in the same era. what year was this ?

  • Actually this was originally done with Eric Carr in 1981. KISS released it as an instrumental/Eric Carr solo called "Carr Jam 1981" on KISS' Revenge Album. But they overdubbed Bruce Kulick on Ace's lead track.

  • RIP eric. and great riff

  • The main riff kind of sounds like Carr Jam.

  • @Dabuss98 it is lol

  • That singer stinks, Todd Howarth was better, but I think Ace should have sang it... Freakin' good song otherwise.....

  • i thnk ace should do all the lead guitar and vocals

  • kick aSS! gene , paul and their hired hacks are wusses!

  • Este baterista é o Anton Fig. Quem gravou os álbuns Dynasty, Unmasked também o disco solo do Ace Frehley!

This is the drummer Anton Fig Who recorded the album Dynasty, Unmasked also the solo album Ace Frehley!

  • RIP eric carr

  • OMG the drummer is an amazing Anthon Fig!!!!

  • Nobody but Tod Howarth should sing this.

  • @jasonlee1 Richie Scarlett is the original singer of this song. Tod's version is good though.

  • but this is carr jam 1981........

  • @andreacipriano Well the Car Jam was never released... until Revenge album 1992... this is in the 80's, so this was released befor the Carr Jam...

  • i know but this song without words in of eric carr played in 1980

  • is*

  • i have this on my ace dvd

  • i think ace and eric were better friends than most people think..

  • ace and eric originally wrote it

  • Comment removed

  • Does anyone even know this is the late Eric Carr's song listen to Carr Jam 1981 on Revenge by Kiss.

  • its not a eric song.its an ace song that ace and eric were workin gon years ago but shit heads paul and gene scrapped it.

  • I do. Still kicks ass.

  • get ure fax str8 dude eric and ace wrot it bruce added a bit 2 it

  • This is a segment of Antons instructional video "In the Groove"...Scarlett is a douche.

  • @bloodythinandfast yea scarlett is a joke but look at it this way.....he was a stepping stone for aces amazing career!!

  • Anton Figg on drums is the best! His little lick coming out his 2bar solo with the triplets on the dual basses is SO great!

  • the best song from aces solo band.anton figg is awesome on this song.

  • Letterman really does have a kick-butt band with Figg and Will Lee, and the boys. Figg could do an around the world and have it sound like someone falling down a flight of stairs, and it would STILL be in time!! Figg and Neil Peart (Rush) are the two best drummers alive today IMHO.

  • i totally agree.figg and peart are awesome.

  • I love Ace frehley , actually more than KISS

  • HOLY FREAKIN JAM!!! GO ACE!!!! Anomaly completely rocks too!! Keep the magic up man!!

  • @budy2yup Ain't that the truth......

  • Where's there a studio version off "Frehley's Comet"? I tried to explain the intro to someone but it's beyond words. It'd be a great ringtone...

Richie has a great voice, but I'm used to the way Tod sings it.

  • Ace was the real soul of KISS when Ace left KISS was over by two times jajaja

    Ace is a GOD

  • I love this tune ..... this is heavy! I like the way Tod Sings it as well on the FC album ...I find both versions great...sometimes I prefer one over the other...depends on my mood.

  • THAT AINT TOD DUDE--THATS RICHIE

  • Comment removed

  • It's Tod on the Frehley's Comet album.. Notice I said "I like the way Tod Sings it as well on the FC album ..." If you think it's not Tod on the album I would suggest writing him on Face Book...dude!

  • sorry my fault--your right--i know who sings what on what dude-lol

  • hey...lol..it's all good bro! Rock 'n' roll!

  • This wuz my favorite song off that album.

That Anton is a drummin' mofo.

  • the guitar riff is from a kiss recording they did with eric car

  • its something ace and eric carr were trying out.not kiss.paul and gene couldnt write anything this good.thats why it never made it on a kiss album.gene and paul knew it would smoke anything they wrote one the same album.

  • yeah but Ace wrote the lyrics and the music so this is a Frehley's song

  • tod howarth is great..but ritchie scarlett fucking slaughters him right here....godly solos and his voice HOLY SHIT!!!!..and fig's fills are AMAZING!! great post!!!

  • yodd howard is way better of a singer than this fool richie scarlett

  • ANTON FIG!!! my favorite drummer

  • Ritchie scarlet and ace Frehley were one hell of a team!!!!!!

  • this drummer was the drummer from David Letterman. Ace has begged a lot to get him to the his band

  • Well he did play drums on Ace Frehleys solo album all those years ago!!

  • He also did pretty much all of the drum work on Dynasty and Unmasked since Peter was too messed up to play. I think Dirty Livin was the only song Peter played on between the two albums.

  • "I may be wrong, but the only song Peter played on, on "Dynasty" was "I was made for loving you". I know he didn't play on "Unmasked".

  • the song that pete played on was dirty livin from dynasty the rest are anton, cheers!

  • @thefallofmaxpayne It was Dirty Livin not I was made for loving you

  • actually him and ace started to play together since 77--he played on almost all of ace`salbums--he joined letterman in the late 80`s--but has alwayed played with ace-he in on the new cd also

  • yea his name is anton fig he also played on a couple kiss albums when peter criss was unavailable

  • Fig replaced steve jordan on the letteran show in 86 and has been there ever since

  • I like Ritchies singing style on this one. I really like Tod Howarth but this kicks the originals ass.

  • the original was with richie scarlet also in 84 or 85...when the studio album came out it was "old" material when howarth was the singer at this period...i am a big richie fan also..i think they should reunite...theres no better guitar team!

  • but this song is pretty good

  • mi favorita del album frehley´s comet

  • Exelente Rola

Kiss y Ace Frehley Por siempre

  • Ace kicks ass!

  • O yeah ,baby!!....Great song!!

  • briliant !

    ace ace ace...........

  • Great performance and super rock song ... I love it ...

  • The drummer is Anton Figg. Hes the house drummer on Late night with David Letterman.

  • The name is Anton Fig

  • oh i see so they cut the drum solo?? and who's the drummer name?

  • great, great video -

    great, great song!

  • and yes eric carr came up with the majority of the licks that anto is playing here, not the fact that both eric and anton had great respect both on a proffessional and friendship level for each other.

  • is this song related to carr jam it sounded the same

  • car jamm was the demo for breakout that never made it into kiss until after eric's death. it was also the only 'studio' recorded drum solo available to them from eric.

  • Yeah

  • this is rock!!!!!!!!

  • yeaaaah!!!!

  • I like this song better as "Carr Jam" with no lyrics.

  • Eric is given credit with song writting on this song. Very god song R.I.P. Eric Carr

  • eric carmen? anton blows him away dude

  • Is this from Anton Fig's tutorial video??

  • yes

  • I don't think Richie Scarlett is "butchering" the song. Richie was an original member of Frehley's Comet circa 1984-85, along with Arthur Stead, Anton Fig, and John Regan. Todd Howarth sang Breakout on the first Frehley's Comet record, though it was good too, the original is heavier and has more of an edge to it.

  • thanks wikipedia faggot

  • Is the drummer Anton Fig?

  • who's the singer butchering the song?

also don't forget this is Eric Carrs drum licks.

  • richy scarlett

  • yeah ur right it is eric carrs drum licks..

  • here's the attention you're so desperately seeking.

  • gee thanks, and it means so much comin from someone as important as yourself.

  • wtf? i speak the plain and simple truth you fucks

  • no,anton made his own licks and eric couldnt touch a hair on antons ass

  • love anton. great drummer. that K ride has a nice bell. ace may not be the most technical axe player but his sound, riffs, the way he moves/struts, sense of humour, all of him. sorry, born to be a rock star.

  • Anton played on Kiss' Dynasty and Unmasked. He also played on Ace's 1978 solo Lp

  • anton fig newton

  • Anton Fig rules!!

  • gotta laugh when I see comments like hilleys.Ace is internationally known, emulated, admired, and respected,as well as being a founding member of one of the biggest bands of all time, and somebody is gonna trash his technique,Technique dont cut it in Rock and Roll, attitude and originality does,Ace has both in SPADES!

  • Whahahaha, watch ace's technique in 2:54 as he walks thru the pentatonick scale in F#m...he only uses his index- and his middle finger...talk about poor technique...he's still stuck in the starting days while everyone else moved forward...he messed up riffs with sniffs, lol

  • guitarhilley,

What is up with bashing of Ace. You are act like you're an expert, but I watched your VERY amateur renditions of "My Guitar Gently Weeps" and "High Price of Hate" and you are in no position to criticize Ace Frehley. That's why you're in a "professional coverband" (lol- that makes me laugh) called "Papa Di Grazzi" and Ace Frehley is a guitar legend. Carry on with your mediocrity Hilbert! -LOL

  • You're absolutly right, it never was my intension to critize Ace's playing on a bad and bashing way. My only point is that he never went forward in his playing like bruce kulick did. Come on man, you can still see him playing the same stuff as he did in the early days. Back then he WAS the shit but never made progression. Still I think of him as one of greatest the influences of all time. If he just had sit down and practiced some more he could be bigger then EVH but he got lazy and greedy.

  • Bruce kulick,for all his abilities,isnt a great guitarist,sad to say...he`s nothing special..ACE IS!!

  • Still yet, as leifpaul said, even though Bruce Kulick may have "went forward" as you say, his work is near as good or memorable as Ace's. Ace could play with drop tuning or whatever new or cutting edge style that is hot at the time, but that's not his style. His style is was you are saying he should have changed or progressed, but I personally hope he doesn't change it. I really hope the new CD is full of new songs in his bad, lazy, greedy, poor technique, and lousy style most of us love!

  • nobody knocks angus young for "not progressing" why should Ace have to change anything?

  • my god!ace frehley rules and great mr scarlet

  • carr is singing??????

  • No, that's Richie Scarlett!

  • Ace should sing this song!

  • Ace just kicks ass!

Anton and Ritchie were in their best!

    Pure rock and roll!

But remember, Eric Carr came out with the lick for this terrific song. Eric, rip.

  • I have the Anton Fig vhs tape that this is taken from.

Dave Letterman plays a bit of drums on it and talks about strippers.

  • I'm one of the biggest Kiss fans! I simply love Ace, and his solo stuff! Anton Fig is an incredible drummer... (;o)

  • I've never liked kiss but this is good stuff.

  • awesome...richie scarlet plays with leslie west of mountain..........

  • GO ACE YOU ROCK ASS HOO YA

  • anton figg rocks!!!!!

  • So what happened to Ritchie Scarlett

and why isn't he with Ace in his

    current line up and tour?

  • Ritchie plays with Mountain, as well as solo stuff. He has released quite a few albums. He is playing in Japan in February 2008.

  • you always with your kiss and tell on every ace vid there's hey ever you ever read kiss and tell ore hey i read something funny about ace !!

  • Ritchie Scarlet does a better job sing this than the other guy. This has an edge that the studio version is missing. Ace Rocks!

  • como vas a comparar la voz de scarlett con la de Piter, hermano???

  • Is that Ritchie Scarlet singing? The voice is VERY similar to Peter Criss' voice.

  • is anton the guy on the 2nite show w/ dave letterman ??

  • yes - funny stories about him also in the KISS & Tell book.

  • yes the same guy.

  • GreatShare, stop talking! Nobody cares!!

  • you don't speak for the masses - speak for yourself, which in that case, nobody cares!

  • You've posted the same comment advocating "KISS and Tell" on just about every Ace Frehley - related video on YouTube. It's getting freaking annoying.

  • you're annoying. grow up, learn how to read, then you can complain. Meanwhile the book I was talking about is friggin' funny as hell.

  • You think so, only because YOU wrote the book GORDON!! Now Seriously ................ FUCK OFF!!

  • dude, ur a fucking asshole. shut the fuck up about ace. we will all expose u 4 who u are dude ur going down

  • yet again ................. FUCK OFF GORDON!!

  • fuck off GORDON!!

  • Did you read the book KISS & Tell?

  • Whoa!! Anton Fig is phenomenal and ACE rules!

This is incredible. Thanks for posting.

  • this is a great song, from frehley's comet,i like the studio version a lil better, the vocals are better on the studio version, great solos on this one,

  • I'm sorry, but Tod Howarth does better vocals on this song.

  • Tod Howarth is just simply an awesome all around musician. His solo stuff kicks ass. The 87 Comet line up was the best to date.

  • One of the best FREHLEY`S COMET Songs ever, IMO !

  • It seems a Anton Fig's Band video... It looks like Ace is only a common guitarist...

  • great drummer

  • I haven't read all of the comments so if this has already been covered, sorry. But how many of you know that Eric Carr cowrote this song with Ace? It's actually a decent song. If you ever listen to Kiss' Revenge album, the last track is called Carr Jam 1981 and it's the same exact riff from Breakout. Good stuff. Ace is the fucking MAN! And God Rest Eric Carr's soul.

  • excelently correct in fact the last track on revenge is actually a clip taken out of a breakout demo. bruce just came in and put a lead track over it.

  • WOW!

    That was just the coolest...

  • How cool i`ve never seen this. only heard about it aint it from antons drum clinic cd ? either way very cool. wonder when this was taped ? im thinking about 1993 or so ? Ace frehley is the reason kiss was great from the early dayz up until he left . GOD BLESS ACE FUCKING FREHLEY !!

  • Fucking great song! But I agree with that Tod's voice is MUCH better for this song! Richie would do better in a Sleaze-band or something.

    Anton rules, doesn't he? :D

  • Z A R P A D O

  • wat a good a good song

  • TOD HOWARTH SANG THIS ALOT BETTER

  • Amazing! Check out my video of the band Frehley's Vomit playing Breakout.
