Teachers will undermine black children's abiities by mistreating them in school, which causes them to act out. When young by students show potential, teachers, consciously or sub-consciously, will point to the child's"problem" behavior when they can't point to his intellect as a shortcoming. If your child is known as a "problem" early on, this can follow him throughout his educational career, undermining him academically.
@AtlantaAngel84 he kinda sat back and let me handle it then was like that lady is an idiot, lol and we have to but him in a school or enviroment were he'll be challenged.
I got one put in as a sew in and it itched so bad. I washed it and it tangled and shed like mad! I put another one in and did not wash it and after 3 weeks it was real oily and I didn't put any oil or products in my hair. I use the Remi Bump now and it's great. $30 a box and it only take 1 box of hair.
Wow...I would've went off knowing everything that I do for my family. Yes, my husband does his part but for the most I control what goes on with my kids. I wish someone would tell my husband that he needs to participate more...he works to provide for us!!! Ooh, you got me heated :)) btw your hair is gorgeous <3
People, other races, are so quick to say what goes on in the African American home. I'm black and I still can't tell u what half our race do in they houses. But your hair came out Cute!
This is not a shock. I have a friend who went through something similar with her young son. The Catholic school teacher was very negative toward her son (African American), despite him being darn near a genius for his age. They took him out of that school, but only after speaking with the leadership at the school & the FEW other minority parents who had similar issues.
cute hair. I lot of siblings go through this because the older one will talk for them or they get frustrated that you can't understand them like the older sibling. he'll catch up.
I've seen those kits! that one looks nice on you! Did u sew it in or quick weave? These so called school teachers can be a trip! I've dealt with a few myself..I wonder what would she said if you was a single parent? where the woman is the mother and the father?..Or would she'd even came off like that?..Just pray and walk away!..It's no need to get out of character over someone who just don't know what they talking about.
great video. im glad that you have enough sense to see past the director's ignorance. smh some people aren't even worth getting upset of. stay blessed hunnie!
OMG. When you said that your 2nd son, Isaiah doesn't talk as well as your son Ameer I was like that is exactly how my son, Isaiah (same name) is. He turned 2 in May and his sister, Jayden (3 1/2) talks up a storm and she talks for him. He has just started saying some words in the past 2 weeks.
