The issue is not thether God truly exists or not, it is the monotheistic conception of God that poses the problem. They're not likely to waste any time on editing out a synonym, it's more likely he chose to say bargain to seem less trite in his reference. To get into someone elses mindset is a good way to be different He's an entertainer and a performer. So for me, him saying he sold his soul isn't that easy to believe. He also said he was raised in New Mexico for a while. That was a lie but it hurt no one. As to this confession though, it's no one's business but his own. He would have to deal with it.

This is feeble. Way too much time spent on alleging they "edit out" the word "deal" when it means essentially the same thing as bargain. They're not likely to waste any time on editing out a synonym, it's more likely he chose to say bargain to seem less trite in his reference. I'm already convinced that this is a world of duality, but you don't seem to recognize that this same entity Dylan bargained with is has also co-opted Christianity and changed the symbol from a fish to the cross.

@candlelightvm I'm a huge fan of Dylan. But he's a songwriter and he's used identities of real and imagined people to tell stories. To get into someone elses mindset is a good way to be different He's an entertainer and a performer. So for me, him saying he sold his soul isn't that easy to believe. He also said he was raised in New Mexico for a while. That was a lie but it hurt no one. As to this confession though, it's no one's business but his own. He would have to deal with it.
