@joshuagundamu I just bought GFF #0004 and #0039 : the quality is kinda of poor as "action figures" but as display "figurines," they are good. Bottom line: not to play with - despite the many accessories and joints of articulation.
I just determined what version RX-78 I had. Somehow, it has minimal paint rub despite being from when I was like 6. Unfortunately, I only have a pair of legs, a shield, beam rifle, and the beam javelin, No torso or sabers. (Damn my carelessness)
I never did have an original Gundam other than the weird Grey colored one that came with the big Yellow flying transport thing (the Gunnperry?). Unfortunately the Transport practically came out of the box broken and I really should have got another one since my local Family Dollar suddenly received alot of them for cheap way back when. I should really do something about it. It's pretty much only good for repainting it to look like it was shot down and destroyed or crashed, something like that.
I've gotten this guy new, if you need the instructions I can print you out a copy and send it. to you no problem.
as a seller I've listed this figure as a version 2. lol, I've always argued the fact that because this figure was used in not just the deluxe G-fighter set but also for the full armor and battle damaged gundam and that it would have to be looked at as a full version upgrade based on its use.
I have the japaneese RC-78-2 ver 2 but the beamsaber handles dont fit really well in its backback. oh and if lost his beam rifle becaus my cat jumped on my shelf a while back and its unfindable.
The only accessory I can tell it didn't have was the Hyper-Hammer, unless it didn't come with that particular MSIA figure. The only part of the G-Armor (the one with the Gundam in the middle of the two halves of the G-Fighter) you missed the rotation of the wings on the rear, which is why you had trouble positioning the arms.
@joshuagundamu The only reason I mentioned the gundam hammer is because I actually have the scarred version and was curious if any of the other RX-78 versions had one because all I could find at the time was the scarred version.
@78ken78 try the link for my ebay store, i have this figure in stock on a pretty regular basis. however finding one new in the box can be rather difficult.
