I lived in Taipei for 8 years. I've seen its backside and its underbelly as well as its countless hidden and obvious treasures. I love Taipei. I've been to all places shown in the film many times, and I've walked each of the exact paths as the person in the film, some on almost a daily basis. This is the Taipei I know so well. If I had the ability to introduce Taipei through a film, this is exactly how I would do it. This is fantastic cinematography and a wonderful look at Taipei.

Yes, it is true that cameras, phone, computer related items is much cheaper in taiwan since electronics is largely produced here.

And i would not suggest you to get your games here, due to the fact that they are mostly in chinese or japanese. there are english games but you wouldve seen them in the states but it may be cheaper here than the states
