Morimoto Minis Bi-Xenon Projectors Retrofit - Honda Prelude

i have problem with my morimoto mini and my hid 8k. its the H1.

my question is how come my hid 8k wont see as far as yours???

and plus it doesnt fits right at all. and how do you make your morimoto mini and your hid look so prefect like that and how come your can see so far??? cuz mines can see only 10-15 feet away..and i dont like it at all...PLEASE HELP!

reason I ask is when I add a pnp hid kit, the highbeam indicators on the dash don't work because there is no power going to a bulb on the highs.. Maybe this is dependant on a car by car basis.. donno..

did you wire something up so the highbeam indicator workd when you hit the highs or do they aucomatically just indicate on the instrument cluster automatically?

Do you have the CCFL angel eyes that are optional with the morimoto minis? if so are they preinstalled or did you have to glue them on with your retrofit

We got same cut off. Nice. Im thinking of getting 55w hids. I don't know if the projectors can handle them.

damn it looks good.. Hope they look as good in my 06 Altima. Will these work with the H1 HID kits that I have installed in my car? Or do I have to order the WHOLE package?

im thinking of buying the angel eyes on my prelude but did you change them b/c they sucked or what? are the morimoto's a significant upgrade to the eagle eyes. Cuz I still want angel eyes and good projectors.

Good question. Here's the thing. The angel eye projectors are out of box, pretty decent. However, the morimoto mini projectors are optical glass and reflector bowl designed to work with HIDs not halogens. The light output and beam width is in a different class. The angel eyes look great and are better then stock, but the morimotos retrofitted are at least 2-3x better light output then the angel eyes. Hope that helps.
