Would he assemble a panel of engineers and analysts consisting of the people who didn't see this mess coming in the first place? The same of his buddies who probably helped him break the state? Costing more of your tax dollars, to increase their salaries for their job on the panel.

There comes a point where throwing more money at the problem and more people/regulations does not net positive returns. Especially when it's the throwing money at the problem that is the problem.
