If I would've seen this before MegaDriver I would say this was awesome, but unfortuantly it's been topped. Still pretty great anyway.

To me it feels like there needs to be more bass, and an extra guitarist, because without them it does feel a bit shallow.

Perhaps I should add that I'm primarily a pianist and bassist, and this was the first time I had recorded my guitar playing. I didn't even own the guitar on the recording.

In fact, the whole recording was meant to be re-recorded by my band at the time, but that never happened, neither did the band, so this version stuck.

It's not that bad.

@althejazzman I think the guitar is too squeaky, but that's just me. I like the bass and drums w/tinkly sounds. The guitar is just kind of hard on the ears.

No, its an arrangement, not an interpretation. And anyway, if you read, you'll see I'm the keyboard player in the band, but I still recorded all the instruments. So don't expect me to solo, because I'm barely a guitarist. So I'm quite proud of my achievements.

Anyway, who's going to recognise it if I started noodling all over it?

I think you'll also find the main challenge is arranging which instruments to play all the parts, and the technique of playing it all.
