  • Ordered mine! with the V6. The V8 is just too American. No offence. Huge displacement, no power. From 210kW for the 3.8 to 256kW for the 5+ liter pushrod V8, it just not worth it to go for the V8. The V6 is new, and offers European volumetric efficiency. 2 liter extra displacement for 46kw is just too 1960.

  • in my country it has a 5.7 liter v8 engine

  • 2010 احلى بكثيييير من ذا .!؟!

  • THE INTERIOR IS FUCKING ROFL

  • @NUGNESS123 Really?! Is the interior fucking ROFL?!

  • This guy sounds like a retard!

  • Jeeps are the shit. 3.6L V6 though?? bring back the 5.9, then were talking power!!

  • @gup1985 in my country it has a 5.7 liter v8 engine

  • what a goon! why bring up obama? why bring up motives? this is the sexiest suv, and the best suv on the market for the price, period

  • I Hate chrome rims! Leave em to the city thugs

  • the same style with BMW x5...

  • this is just a cheeper jeep bagged mercedes benz ml550 , and i want it

  • land rover=terrain response

    jeep =terrain control

both new off road technology have same function but which one is the best?

  • This guy says "If they're around next year"? I've got news for you, even if Chrysler goes under Jeep will still be around. The Jeep label is one of the most iconic and recognizable auto brands in the world. Somebody would buy Jeep and keep making them. It would be a pity if it weren't an American company anymore but there will be Jeeps around for a long, long time.

  • looks great!!

  • just go out of business please

  • how about you go out of business

  • @tyrellc303 . . Jeep looks awesome . buy American BITCH

  • very crisp looking, i've seen some pictures of engineers doing trial testing and they were very impressive considering that this is jeeps top of the line luxury oriented model, i also found that 2 v8 will be available one is a refined 5.7 hemi based on the previous and the other will be for the srt-8 version said to have 6.4 liters of displacement. pretty impressive thus far, greetings from a german jeep enthusiast.

  • i dont like it... i have a grand cherokee 5.7 hemi 2006 model and i think its much better anyway i had to say that the interior has been improved...

  • wait... are you being sarcastic?

  • this jeep rocks KICKS LANDROVERS ASSS ALL THE WAY TO EUROPE LOLLLLLLL u retarded europeans, lol u guys drive fucking fiats and ugos lollllllll. i dont even know how to speell ugos.

  • because you're american maybe? can you see past your cheeseburger?

  • actually I can see past the cheeseburger but can't over all the nobel prizes and discoveries that AMERICA is making. so if I were you I would really learn more about the country before making assumptions that its people are stupid. plus you must be so defensive because I was right about Europeans only being able to drive fiats and ugos.

  • shut your face Dick Johnson, nobody gives a shit about the US. Learn to spell YUGO you imbecile

  • Comment removed

  • yea, remove your comment because it was SO fucking lame hahahaha I Love arguing on the internet, everyone gets so ass hurt you could swear this is a gay orgy

  • wtf...i don't see any comments removed. it was the same comment but i posted it twice dumb shit!

and by the way your hometown says your from miami so please don't disgrace the US by claiming you are from there.

and except for you, i don't think anyone is hurt....work on the comebacks

  • Finally! something to compete with foreign cars like toyota, Honda, etc. I always had faith and backed American Cars. Ingenuity started in the USA its time show what American cars can do again!

This jeep rocks! Looking foward to the V8 of this car :)

  • @sharkloaner

American cars were leaders of the world and now its time for them to come back and they are. American Ingenuity is highest and the work ethic is the best.

  • Let's see!

  • not to far this car comes out 1st Quarter of next year or close to April

  • Finally we are starting to make decent, good looking cars, too bad it took us 700,000,000 dollars to realize we can compete with world class automakers...

  • The JEEP Grand Cherokee is JEEP's only foray into luxury off-roaders, not unlike LAND ROVER. This was where the GC was going since it was first introduced decades ago. get over it.

  • belle auto mobile eh' !!!

  • Eyuck! Ill stick to my 91 xj Cherokee.

Whats happened the the real Cherokees? The ones with real solid axles. The ones I can actually get muddy, bash around and break stuff on it all I want and still afford to fix instead of this overpriced "Mercedes Benz" built "pansy-wagon".

Man.... Now its turned into some "sissy" luxury SUV.

  • i have in love with jeep for a long time. only thing thats most attractive to me is the shape of this suv that is still same like old one. such a better shape that make it look like one of unique suv especially from the back. 2011 jeep. beautifulllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll

  • If they really plan on this vehicle competing with the likes of the BMW X5, Porsche Cayenne, and Mercedes ML, they better tune and test it on the Nurburgring.

  • Why do you guys keep saying this isnt a real off road truck, its got an air ride shocks that offers more ground clearance than the Wrangler Rubicon and a removable frot clip specfically for off roading with this car. You people need to do some fucking research before you piss and moan about something

  • if your a rock crawler this truck is not for you, people are mad because they cant change the springs and shocks like on the solid axe jeeps, you are right and they are right, am getting this truck but still keeping my 05 hemi just in case, am still checking all the facts b4 i choose, thxs

  • @Rath69 damn straight this guy knows whatsup

  • Comment removed

  • you couldnt have said that better!

  • Good

  • ive got the SRT8 09 and if I m gonna stay buying these they better not put that 'mama got the shopping' back end on it as its gone all Japo, yuck!

  • sucks from the back eeeeeeeeeel

waiting to see the SRT model on it :D

  • that jeep is soo sexy

  • he looks and sounds drunk!

  • omfg the announcer studdered throughout the video

  • obama needs to get out of bed of the bankers and dole out the money to the automakers too.

  • urgh learn to say a cars name dude....since when has cinquecento been chinkquechento...its said more like sinkquesento...(being phonetic) And the jeep is ugly, only thing that makes it look good is that its shiny.

  • independent suspension all around....so much for "trail rated"..sorry, am not bashing, jus sayin that it's not for me......i want to go get an '04 wj wit 4.7ho b4 they are all gone........

  • hot

  • Who's buying SUV's anymore!? Still looks cramped inside and the outside back end is reminiscent of a Dodge Journey. If Chrysler doesn't go under in the next two weeks, they should focus all their attention on fuel efficiency? Where's the diesel engine? I bet this new Jeep will get 15-17 mpg. Old habits die hard.

  • 16/23 MPG 3.6 Pentastar v6!

  • Whos to say they wont offer a diesel???

  • Every auto brand sold in the USA offers an SUV. Jeep should be the last company to stop making them. There is a lot of people who want to buy a new SUV(including myself), but all vehicle sales are down. Congress needs to get their head out of their ass, and allow vehicles that meet European, Japanese, and Australian crash and emission standards to be sold in this country. Then you will have your diesel, and standardized product to be sold in all of these markets to cut costs.

  • I don't believe we should succumb to less than tolerable emission standards. We should be innovators in clean diesels or alternative fuels. To say we should just lower our standards to the European standards doesn't help us in the long run. I.E. reduced emissions and reduced oil dependancy.

  • It's ridiculous that the first world countries have not been able to reach a common ground on emission and crash standards over the last 40 years. That being said, I am simply talking about the EU/UK, Japan & AU. These are countries that are concerned about crashes and emissions and have good standards. They may be different than ours, but I am sure they are sufficient, esp. given the world economy. They are certainly not "less than tolerable". We wont be innovators with our industry gone.

  • This would look cool as a Cop Car :D

  • IT would look good on top of a cop car as well LOL.

  • its fuckin ugly keep the old cherokee

  • i'm gonna miss the commander though... :(

  • lovin' it

  • wow...i like this suv it's nice, i think chrysler is putting there bailout money to good use...i would totally buy this suv.

  • It looks like a BMW X5 from the rear (which isn't necessary a bad thing), but it's got that signature Jeep look at the side and front. The new American cars are getting much better. The ones that pop into my head are GM's Enclave, Malibu and Traverse, Ford's Flex and Daimler Chrysler's... well they've got the Challenger.

  • yea i agree...oh and daimler sold chrysler so it's just chrysler now btw

  • they didn't completely sell it. they still own 20%. anyway like the new Cherokee, but how much?

  • looks great, gotta wait for it's performace though, i hope this version still keeps up with what jeep stands for

  • I'm love in it.....

  • The editor is quite drunk :D

  • i pref the jeep hurricanne concept

  • BMW backlight and BMW flowing body

Hyundai Santa Fe's interiorr ... puhahaha

  • hate the tail lights

  • wtf is this, stupid stupid, they are trying to appeal to the rich yuppies like are SUV whores, which they will, its a shame, i miss the old school badass offroad anywhere jeeps :(

  • lets see the srt8 version!

  • im afraid they wont be making one

  • i was afraid of that!!

  • yea. for the hemi version they will be using the new ram hemi but prob bumped up to 400hp. thats alot but no srt8. it wont have any of the sport elements . thats y im tryin to keep mine perfect so it lasts.

  • yeah there is a new srt8 its got a 6.4 v8 over 505 horse power

  • yea herd about that. but i though that was gunna be put in the 2010 srt8 to do a last year special edition. it would be amazing if they kept it.

  • Oh no!!! What have they done!!! Just give me the old go-anywhere wrangler please.

I always thought the Jeep wranglers were right up there with the Toyota Landcruiser FJ40s and the Willy's Jeeps. Just Bare bones, white-knuckle brute vehicles that did their jobs and did it well.

  • I like it.... But when I think of Jeep, I think of CJ's, TJ's, ZJ's, etc. This looks like some sort of crossover BMW or something IMO.

This thing is a far cry from what Jeep used to be. :( I'd take my '98 5.9 Limited GC over that one.

  • I hope the interior remains the same for production!!

  • What you see IS the production model.

  • Did he say, "Fiat"? So, Fiat owns Crystler, now?

  • Yes,Fiat took over Chrysler.

  • i hadn't heard it was finalized.

  • Wow! So, is Chrysler still an American company? Also..., what country Fiat's from?

  • Italy. It literally means "Faith" in Italian. Let's hope for some faith in american cars, eh? hah.

  • Lol.. We don't need faith for our cars. We have plenty of hp. to replace it! ;-)

  • Wow! A direct injection engine...and, all Mopar can get is 280 hp.??? GM. and, Ford got atleast 300+ hp. out of their direct injection V6s!

  • The engine isn't direct injection.

    Motor Trend is wrong.

  • Lol.. Really? How you figured that?

  • The engine was rumored to be direct injection, but Chrysler said that the DI version was too loud for the Grand Cherokee.

  • Too loud? How?

  • thats one sorry excuse of a jeep

  • How many pills did this guy pop, prior to the show?

  • Wow a Jeep that looks promising.

  • not too bad, but the price?? can we afford it?

  • prett ynice

  • That interior is def a nice step in the right direction

  • shit your right

  • Great looking car, but i am curious about the price, and i don't just mean base price but more the price of all the options that you may need in order to make it look as well equipped as we see it here

  • i like it.

  • ummm can i take it off road. thats all i wanna kno. its got the name but does it still have the same cabilities. i mean seriously its all most a luxuary SUV. who would take that off road. not very many unless they had too

  • Looks CHEAP o_O !!

  • what is jeep turning into fucking cadillac? i hate it!

    bring back the cherokee!

  • They want to compete with the m class, the LR3 and GX470 more, but offroading is my main concern

  • when u think jeep, ur supposed to think offroad vehicle...what is happening

  • its got offroad capability

  • Someone shoot this guy in the face, please. Nobody is gonna pay attention to you if you don't know how to talk. It only takes common sense to know that.

  • Take that Land Rover!

  • WOW it looks great, and the quality of it is excelent

  • Does anyone really need this? Really??? For more than just showing of the big ego???

  • Looks MUCH better.

  • this is another piece of shit mopar 75000 mile and the tranny's gone on it.

Dodge sucks big ball Chrysler should fail they have been failing us for decades

  • Consitering they have a lifetime powertrain warrenty on their cars and trucks, your comment means nothing.

  • Considering with a D ok and yes they offer this in the US but not in Canada. Also yes Chrysler has failled they have nothing in terms of sustainabilty for alt fuel vehicles. The technology they have they can't sell to anyone. The rest of the world is decades ahead of the Detroit big 3.

  • Please use facts rather than opinion next time you comment on the automotive industry. Either you are a European luxury loyalist or a misled Japanese loyalist. Europe makes quality and exciting vehicles, while Japan tends to focus on quality over excitement, in which they have failed to do lately. Buick and Jaguar just overtook Lexus as the top quality automakers according to JD Powers, so Japan is obviously getting lax.

  • Buick has always been the best build quality auto maker, Remember the beginning of the 40s, maybe you don't but Buick's Slogan was "when better cars come, Buick will build them."

  • That was true.

  • This may be true but the big 3 have nothing in terms of being able to build a sustainable platform in order to compete and do business. We are are nation dependant on oil and we have no real ICE solution. I see some of our local GM dealersare in the business of giving away cars. If you buy a montana van the give you Vibe or an AVEO for a dollar a sigle f@#$ing dollar. However i have been watching the asian car makers working hard, building

  • a long range EZ and some of the most efficient hybrids in the market and most are common everyday vehicules on the road today not just a dream of the future. The day I can buy a Toyota Sienna and they give me a Corola for a dollar I want to buy 3 of them.

  • And as of Dodge they have the coolest looking cars but they are garbage they have in my experience to have been nice new but after a year of daily use to be awful and unreliable. Subaru's are awesome cars, honda's are very good too for what they are. Ford, well they ave always been a few years behind everyone.

  • I do not dispute your Dodge argument, quite accurate, but Toyota's products are unemotional to drive or look at, and their quality has begun to slip (Lexus's drop in consumer ratings is enough to show this). Give me one Toyota vehicle and I can show you a comparable one in the Big 3's lineups that is more fun to drive and looks much better.

  • exactly! i totally agree

  • I love it!!

  • Is it me or I'm pretty sure GM and Chrysler worked on this together. The rear end looks like the new GMC Terrain and I'm positive that the 3.6 comes from GM: same technology, same power.

  • omg that thing is HOT!!!!!!!! good job jeep. i never used to like jeeps before, they were always too boxy, but this thing is nice!

  • a cherokee is the only chrysler vehicle tha i would buy. (other than a viper) but realisticly it would only be the cherokee

  • the editor is quite drunk :D

  • wow he is

  • don't be fkin rude

  • This is a beautiful truck. Its a truck that uses great looking material for the interior and the exterior is aggressive looking. We will have to wait and see what this car does in safety and fuel efficiency. I wish Chrysler offered a Diesel option for this truck.

  • A turbo diesel would be awesome.

  • crossover suvs are a disgrace, jeep just keeps making their cars more "luxurius" and girly in my opinion. hopefully they wont start changing the wrangler too

  • Agreed! Jeep needs to keep to their roots and make rugged go anywhere vehicles. Keep it simple, the base model should be constructed like a tractor.

  • looks nice for a jeep, they stole gmc's terrain back-end.

  • damn thats sweet.. way nicer than an x5 even
