  • purist will go ape, but i always cut out the middle part when i play this for an audience

  • I must say that it always fascinates me to hear the difference in interpretations when it comes to performing various compositions by some of the greatest composers to ever live. I just uploaded my interpretation of this same piece, and it is quite different than yours especially the C# minor part of the piece. Funny how both of us were looking at (most likely) the same score, but we feel and play it differently.

    Cheers, and great playing.

  • Believe.

  • Good job! I always fail to restrain myself to keep piano pieces from running wild :P

  • ( ; Great .. I wish Frédéric is still alive :(

  • @LieannG3B He does. Biret is his reincarnation. haha.

  • What a beautiful piece, I don't know how I missed you playing this one

  • So beautiful . . .

  • No puedo expresar en palabras lo mucho q me fascina este preludio de Frederic Chopin... Es un deleite para mis oidos!

  • Wow!! me sorprende escuchar tocar a alguien tan bien!!

    FELICIDADES

  • nice. though it could use some rubato in the middle section.. it loses a lot of the drama

  • Beautifully played.

  • Nice job Cubus, my personal favorite is your rendition of Chopin op 28 no 13. No one plays it better! Except for maybe me when I finally learn it. Hehehe. :)

  • I will play this DATTEBAYO!

  • You're a very talented pianist well done.

  • I like the tempo by the performer and this is my favorite piece!

  • I like it, but I think it's too fast and that makes it less dramatic.

  • Fuck offff that's a real shit!

COngratulations man i want to play this piece.

    and i'm do it

  • So beautiful

  • I love this piece. I found the sheet music for it and hope to give it a shot, though it may be beyond my level. But its just... too good to not try! The middle section, with all the low chords I found a seperate sheet of music for and have already learned to play some of that.

  • Don't ever let the piece beat you before you even start it!

  • As corny as this sounds I feel like I should thank you haha. But it was played very well keep up the good work.

  • Magnificent. I could feel you wanted to unleash the power of this piece and each time you pulled on the leash to keep it from running wild. You did well to restrain yourself. Very well done!

  • You put these videos out so fast one after another! Are you actually able to learn them that fast? It takes me months to learn just one piece :( I feel stupid.

  • All the pieces I have posted so far I have learned since I started my second period of playing the piano in the summer 2007. I play about 1-1,5 hour each day.

My first period of playing the piano was about 20 years before! Some of the pieces I also played back then.
