The Word Faith Movement in my opinion has the wrong view of God as it places trust in metaphysics as opposed to trust in God. It relies on a Universal Faith-Force that is in obedience to certain cosmic laws that God also must obey. God becomes something that can be manipulated through Positive Affirmation. what is the deal w/ Richard Roberts and his attraction towards Nicaragua's despot, Daniel Ortega.

I can see helping the people there--but Ortega is so blatantly using the good gifts and donations from the Ministry--under the guise of "liberation" theology. Somethnig that is so antithetical to Christian values. I recall Pope Paul II in a 1980s trip there--giving "hell" to one of the priests linked with Ortega--for that very thing!

Christians are too dumb to know the history of their own religion. The egyptian pharoah who was the actual "Abraham" was named Amenemhat I (1991-1962 BC). The actual "Moses" was pharoah Tutmoses II (1492-1479 BC) son of Tutmoses I. King David was yet another pharoah. Jews plagiarized and stole almost all of judaism from egyptian culture and Babylonian culture such as Hammurabi's Code. All jews did was enough BS to justify their ancient human slave trade that was the source of their great wealth.

what planet are you from? the school is NOT seen as a joke. many professional people in and around tulsa have graduated from oru. oru is seen as a reliable uni with dedicated students. the professors are dedicated to their students and are doctors, having received their degrees at oru or other places. many of them are smart savvy business people and are millionaires due to jobs outside oru. have you even read a text book from oru?? its the same book you would get at any other school.

It's a shame to let this happen to ORU. What about all those who got cuts in their tuition? Maybe it's payback time for some of those who were helped by ORU. If you bail out and ruin the college, it will still have an effect on you in the future. You really need to pray and seek God about this.
