  • The phone you are taking apart, is it Verizon?

  • @monicahasmyheart Yes it is a Verizon iPhone 4 in the video we take apart.

  • does it matter what company the screen is from? like i got verizn does it matter if i put a at&t screen on it?

  • @DOPsnare910 Yes. The screen for Verizon will not work on the ATT units and vice versa.

  • i accidentally stripped one of the screws on the plate you take off the one with 5 screws any one know how to take out a striped screw

  • Are the digitizer the same?

  • @luke45a Maybe but we can not replace just the digitizer. The LCD and Digitizer are fuzed together.

  • Is there a difference between the screen replacement for AT&T and Verizon?

I m asking this because i just got my screen replacement and they screw holes are way off and i cant get the screen fit.

  • @deepakraisotang Yes, the screen for the AT&T will not work for Verizon and vice versa. You must get the screen that is for your model and brand on the iPhone 4.

  • Is this going to be the easiest way to get the front screen off?

  • @dirty305boi yes.

  • Why would Apple make their screens out of glass? There should be a better solution to touch screens than this. Everyone I know who has an iPhone has a cracked screen. Same with iPods! They are going to get dropped no matter how careful you are.

  • i followed your videos to change my front screen cause it was cracked, worked well thanks so much.. but now my proximity sensor isnt working.. any ideas ?

  • @TheAngelXO Check all the cables. It sounds like one did not get connected correctly.

  • Thanks for the video I was going to pay someone 120 to do it but now plan on doing it myself as long as I can find the tool kit and screen for less than that

  • are the glass screens for verizon and AT&T the same as far as fitment and connector?

  • @misodem0nor The lcd of the screen is the same the frames that the screws go into to hold it in place are in different positions hence why they will not be cross compatible or they will not fix correctly. You must purchase the screen that fits your Verizon unit.

  • thanks for the video. switched my screen out and it worked perfectly

  • @EngiNierman hey did you need the pentalobe screwdriver and the phillips one? or can you just use the pentalobe screwdriver for the whole process?

  • @steven8934 Most of the Verizon phone like 90% of them will require both the Pentalobe and the Phillips screws driver.

  • You da man. Thanks for a verizon video.

  • cool i have verizon
