This documentary was good right up until the part where it suggested that it was Spanish technology that allowed them to conquer the Aztecs. Thats a frustratingly superficial and naive fable that continues to cloud popular understanding of the Spanish conquest. It was disease, not guns or cannons that destroyed the Aztecs. If anyone is interested on learn more, I'd recommedn Dr. Matthew Restall's phenomenal book "Seven Myths of the Spanish Conquest".
