  • thanks for the video

  • Very awesome video

  • THIS NEW KIND OF TELESCOPE WILL HELP ME UNDERSTAND MORE INFORMATION

THAT I HAVE GLEENED IN ALL MY YEARS LOOKING UP AT THE UNIVERSE THAN I HAVE EVER LEARNED BEFORE.

  • Cool Video. Thanks for shared

  • whopping

  • Cool!!

  • Wow. Fantastic. Good Tecno. Thanks for the video.

  • thats is pretty damn cool

  • Still take great pics though. amazingly beautiful

  • This is amazingly cool

  • Yeah does seem a little small. but i think it has had a new camera fitted

  • I too expected a bigger spec

  • Yeah you'd expect something like couple million megapixels

  • @shoppittsburghnow yeah you'd think they would spend more cash on this... less on war machines

  • Probably had an upgrade since this vid

  • only 268 megapixel >?

  • Great stuff

  • R u guys still about? Love ur vids

  • Love to see the new tech!

  • hahah 268MP

Here i am thinking 10MP is awesome on my 8 inch dobsonian.

*puts hands in pockets and shuffle kicks away*

  • that orange laser is literally orgasmic. I WANT ONE!

  • ok this is good now let the people controll it so we can get some real work doun.

  • It by no means is impossible for a whole plethera of extraterrestrial intelligences to be out there around their stars survaying the solar nieghborhood. One must be conservative in this estimation really very conservative but it is an amazing attept for find other worlds. Anyway this is well explained.

  • @RJL738 I want to update the projects in phillippines,Please help me to go on projects in phillippines....Unknown Nasa Techolongy in moon,Sergio C. Adino update my projects study in your corporate world now..

  • If you go to Chile, is one be able to see the sky like seen in the time-lapse that is shown in the video? If so, it might be worth a trip!

  • @OverCast37 You can see that skyline from anywhere in the world.

You just need to get away from the cities and the lights from where you are

  • now a days telescopes are realy progressed

THAT WE CAN SEE THAT SIDE OF WORLD WITHOUT NEED TO TRANSMITTAL THE MISSILES

  • awesome vid

  • Where do you get all this? Why free? .....

  • but they haven't found the planet kolob yet

  • Wow, Thunderfoot is an astronomer! Check out 4:33 and 4:34 of this video. You'll see Thunderfoot pointing out something on the computers to the other astronomers.

  • Try "BestOfAstrology" ive seen nothing but that on this channel

  • @TheSoldiersMind

    Astrology?

    Really?

    Go fuck yourself.

If you would've said "bestofastronomy" or "bestofcosmology" then you would have a point, but alas you're just a simpleminded fucktard that needs to GTFO my internets.

  • The New VLT Survey Telescope now coming to a Wal-Mart near you!! For the small price of just $100,000,000, you can have one of these wonderful cameras!! And if you find someone with a better price, we'll match it!!

  • The USA today has some form of Stalinism and methods of national socialism. and a people of burger munchers who think they are the master race.

  • The USA today has some form of Stalinism and methods of national socialism.

  • I missed Dr J's usual sign-off; "once again, nature astounds us beyond our wildest imaginings!" Astronomy is the coolest science!

  • You didnt bless North America with your arrival. You wont bless any planet with ur arrival either. I wish I could build a UFo for you. Big enough to take all of you and as fast as possible. It would be the perfect solution. Think this world cant manage without you? Surprise, we can.

  • Wow, this telescope is unbelievable. Awesome,

  • The image at around 5:45, is it one exposure, or many? I mean multi exposure, not several put together for one image like a panorama. The dynamic range looks very impressive.

  • Hot young stars just ready and waiting to get you off!!! only 30c/min!

  • Science is humble. Money well invested!

  • @locolombia927 astro science is for the birds, We cant influence anything

  • @ProjectDecade Earth will be inhabitable for another 250-500 million years. If you factor in the chances of a major asteroid wiping everything out then you have an arguement. But some people like Lunafringe find the chances too slim.. I dont mind NASA, i was just giving some base to Lunafringe's arguement. While I dont completely agree with Lunafringe its important to understand the other perspective and not just bash with immaturity.

  • I don't know what all this people are fighting about... but science isn't about creating a utopia, is about learning, is about gaining knowledge, is about having more information. IS ABOUT UNDERSTANDING THE FREAKIN' COSMOS. Science doesn't care if a habitable planet is out of our range, but knowing it exist and that it's there.

Is not about waiting for the information to come to us, but go and look for it. Why do we waste money on a telescope? To learn.

Now shut up and enjoy your life. :)

  • @MrFreakHeavy Well Said! Excellent! *thumbs up*

  • @MrFreakHeavy Learning should never have money limitations.

  • Comment removed

  • LOL, an acronym in an acronym?

  • Love your video's. Very interesting .

  • lunafringe is a master troll and has been fed, good thing it means nothin outside this small blip in the internet

  • how much does it cost to build and run an observatory of this kind? 300 million dollars? 1 billion dollars? OK. What are we getting for our money?

  • i want tangible results from science. Cure all diseases, get me eternal youth, create an industry that will keep me instead of me keeping industry, make me live 300 years if i want to, and provide bliss every day of my life. Some of it is possible. but only for a few, I want it for all of us. Why are we working our asses off ? Thats not progress. Progress is to enjoy life, But the ruling class is doing all that for itself, We have to carry the burden and pay taxes for such games

  • @lunafringe10 you deserve the best science we have for you, euthanasia

  • at 4:36 .... Thunderf00t?

  • I am suitably impressed.

  • @GaelicHighlander The world never stops evolving and science doesnt either, what was sure to be proven a year ago is now in doubt again. There have been a few scientists who either misled the public about their findings.., or science is being manipulated by govts and so on. For the purpose of propaganda or other, Take cancer for instance. Every so often we read there are breakthroughs, But ppl are still dying of cancer. Even the theory abt black holes is now in question,

  • Oh, i wish i can work with all the astrophysiker and search stars with the telescope. It must be the best work of the world.

  • This is just my imagination.. why don't nasa send the hubble telescope through out to the solar system? and snap some good hd picture of other like planet (it always artist draw imaginary planet like..) just like other sattellites they invent?..

  • Sigh... Why is there ALWAYS people arguing on these best of science videos? Just enjoy the video thats being provided for free and stfu

  • there are a million vids on YT about alien space ships. But Nasa, the omnipotent and money sucking organisation is not saying a thing about them. How come? That is what we want to know. Not the temps on some planet we can never reach,

  • @lunafringe10 Mate if you haven't uploaded at least ten videos on your channel then you have no idea how strict are YouTube's copyrights policies. Most of the good artistic videos are banned and removed by the content owners and their agents. So does the channels who uploaded them are got terminated after two copyright strikes. YouTube does not give a fuck about whats there for the users as long as they can stick some advertising to the video clips. This is the reason for millions of UFO videos

  • @Mytallpalmtree I agree a 100%. Only a fool would buy in to them too.

  • @lunafringe10 okay so my guess is stupid, and a crazy alien nut. Actually almost all "ufo" activity is fairly common space debris, roswell was actually a bizarre hoax set out by the russians. Also the moon and mars missions came back with lots of important discoveries. life didn't come from space it came from chemicals on our planet, if you understand exo-biology you would have known that life can build anywhere, it's not some "magic" seed. you are stupid.

  • @morakdais "roswell was actually a bizarre hoax set out by the russians"

You really bought that recent garbage?!? Then why did they send it to a remote near zero population location and not New York city,,, oh you didn't think that far.

  • @ISamuelII because it showed high traces of radiation, and we did know heads or tails of it. It also came out of several different sources that would have access to that knowledge. Also we know that russia sent 2 cosmonauts out into space to never be heard from again. Why would you take it to NYC? Cal tech and yuma flats had better research facilities, NYC is just obnoxious people who don't understand most science. besides nasa or some agency would have reverse engineered it decades ago.

  • @morakdais Logic failed you.

    1) they claim it was to panic the american people,,, in a vacant desert who would panic??

    2) so far from the coasts.

This excuse is like the many excuses for Kenndy being shot. Magic bullets,,, Acted alone,,, many fingers pointing in all directions except the one that mattered... that level of desperation with the "russians did it" Bull Sheet.

  • @ISamuelII if you know anything about russian rocket science (which you obviously don't), it was off course as were almost all russian spacecraft. the coasts don't matter, in fact it was better to drop it in new mexico because it would raise more questions and conspiracies. If it had landed in new york, america would have felt threatened and would nuclear strike russia first, russia would have had nothing to counter it. lol to magic bullets. you are sooo stupid, like lunafringe.

  • @morakdais Nice way to twist the intent of the latest propaganda. But then what would anyone expect from someone with its head deep into *games*. Not a very good try sputnik.

I'll run it by you once again, ah fergetit. Watch it, someone topped yer score.

  • @ISamuelII you are either an idiot or a troll, both of which you are bad at. next you will tell me that the moon landing was faked and the Bush senior is a space lizard. If we had alien technology we would be in space by now, no aliens landed on earth and there has been no alien activity, lights or signals ever. better to play games (as it shown that gamers are 20% smarter than most) that to be a religious conspiracy nutjob, go back to your shanty or your dump of a boat.

  • @morakdais It's okay, you have games.

  • @lunafringe10 I think the fact that there are people like you who think we can "never reach" a profound goal is one of the major reasons why we even try. So we can shut you dumb fucks up!

  • The moon ventures from way back didnt serve any other purpose but to show the world: look, we can go to the moon. And we saw a few craters. That was it. So the moon ventures were then cancelled. 40 years later Nasa bombed the moon to prove there is water. What is happening to all of that now? or a mission went to mars and it came back with a bucket of mars rocks and dust. We still dont know anything of importance. but it cost billions, We already know life came from out of space.

  • @lunafringe10 I agree if you REALLY think about it this has no purpose. But its the essence of human beings to question every thing. We don't know if it would lead to something GREAT. But us humans, we don't challenge our surrounding just because we know it will be fruit full. Every achievement man kinds has ever made to date is just because we were curious, not knowing what it would bring. Telling man kind to stop being curious in that scene, to us, is like not advancing, ever!

  • @ThePsycheoutFanClub ok, i read that the next exo planet closest to earth is 22 light years away, Problem, we ll never get there. Whats 22 light years compared to thousands of light years? the milky way is approx 100 thousand light years in diameter. It contains 400 billion stars. Most of which are nt even visible to us. So how will we ever know if it ll lead to something greater then we are aware of now? Progress of any kind will never happen for humanity, Ever. Its too vast for us,

  • @lunafringe10 You'd like to think its impossible to reach don't you? Just like when people thought recreating the events of the Big Bang on Earth in a giant tube was crazy talk. Who do you think get's you there, the people who say "You're nuts" or the people who say "You're nuts, but I am willing to put that to the test". And please don't tell me, what I just mentioned isn't as credible as reaching a planet 22 light years away, in your bleak mind it might not be but for me ANY claim is worth it.

  • @ThePsycheoutFanClub You can try your luck to get to the stars. And when ure there, send me a post card

  • @ThePsycheoutFanClub You can try your luck to get to the stars. And when ure there, send me a post card. Beats me why anyone wants to be in space. i like this planet. So stop ruining it , There is no other

  • @lunafringe10

    "There is no other [planet]"

is a questionable thing to say, when commenting on a space exploration vid.

  • @lunafringe10 you asked for some info yesterday... SOLAR ENERGY--WEATHER FORCASTING--MRI--SATELLITE TV--PORTABLE GPS.... just to name a few, now tell me, which one have you NEVER USED ?

all direct spinoffs from SPACE EXPLORATION... just a lil more info, when we understand more of what is going on "around us"... It makes things down here a bit easier.

  • @turtle5181 the closest i got to solar energy is a public parking lot just around the corner. But i dont go there, Weather forecasting? Be nice if it worked, i ve seen too many bad forecasts. The latest was just 3 weeks ago when it was forecast not a cloud would be in the skies for 3 days, Next day it just rained all day, I dont use satellite tv, in fact i dont watch tv. But ok, some ppl do. GPS? i have one on my phone but it doesnt work, well, not accurately. It works for googles and fb and gov

  • @lunafringe10 according to you

    SOLAR ENERGY, doesnt work

    WEATHER FORCASTING, doesnt work

U DONT USE/HAVE SATELLITE TV, lemme guess, youve never enjoyed a program from satv either?

    GPS, doesnt work

I use EVERY LAST ONE OF THESE ON A DAILY BASIS, so far just today @ 9:05AM, not one of these has failed me this morning...

YOU ARE COMPLETELY FULL OF SHIT, good day

  • @turtle5181 where did i state solar energy doesnt work? of course it works, Weather forecasting doesnt work, thats right. NO i dont have TV, but it works, I put tv aside. And the least i want to see some Nato asshole and some White House hog wash episode abt some President who has faked his history, Propaganda and distorted news, i couldnt bear it any longer. And all the garbage soaps. Only for brainwashed idiots. I have internet obviously, I watch dvds and the things i like on the Inet

  • @lunafringe10 "Propaganda and distorted news, i couldnt bear it any longer. And all the garbage soaps."

But you enjoy enough to favorite the trash talk about Kate Middletons family values. Troll on.

  • @lunafringe10 actually there are trillions of others... just saying. furthermore, this planet, due to overpopulation, over pollution and war, is on the verge of its destruction. if we don't find another safe place to live, the human race, and every species on earth, could cease to exist. Because of the nature of humanity, we will fight to survive. When we use this technology that you are so against for some reason unknown to me to find another place to survive, you can just stay here and die.

  • @R4nd0m3p1cn3ss Overpopulation can be tackled. Some countries have zero population growth. We can introduce the one child policy. Industry can be forced to reduce pollution. We can break down cartels and forbid

speculation on commodities such as grain and so on. We can do a lot but if there is no will, the same will happen on another planet. Over and over again. To go to Mars is not feasible. Not all of us anyway. What tech are you suggesting that we use to solve problems? We can legistlate

  • @lunafringe10 what you're suggesting is a strict birth control law that goes against the humanely correct systems already in place. As for finding a planet that can house billions, who said just one planet? As for going there in 1 life time, this may be a concern with todays technology, but if you stop going against technology, we can develop faster traveling methods. There are literally no things stopping us from expanding our technological knowledge except people like you who go against it all

  • @R4nd0m3p1cn3ss what planet are you suggesting billions can go to? is it within a distance we can reach on a life time? I m not against any technology that serves us. Some tech is detrimental to us. Employees have been replaced by robots in a lot of industries. Reason: humans are too expensive. But did the price of cars, housing, food, ever go down instead of up? No. Unemployment went up. Are those telescopes making a better life for us? No. Have we come closer to god? no. none of it happened

  • @ThePsycheoutFanClub yes, there are things which are impossible for us humans. Move away from earth just a million miles, which is nothing compared to one light year and try to locate our planet? You cant see it anymore. So we are going to be the ones conquering the universe? We wont even get to the fringes of the solar system. The nearest planet which the press and science presented as probable sanctuary for us humans is 22 light years away, So we ll travel 333 thou kms per second for 22 years?

  • @ThePsycheoutFanClub Any planet better the ours? more beautiful? You should go to Mars and the Moon. All of you americans. I support it. Go. We dont need you. Leave us behind. Go to your new planet. And dont come back ever. For the sake of peace and for the sake of this planet. If this planet is not good enough for you go. And dont forget your weapons arsenal. So you can live out your paranoia on a new planet. Yeah and take Britain too and Russia. And France. I am sure we can manage quite well

  • @lunafringe10 Yes Contaris Beta is more beautiful than Earth. Higher Mountains, wider deserts, wonderful purple woodlands, and seas that......Oh, I've been called back to the Mother Ship.

  • @gamesbok yes pristine. But dont forget.., wherever humans arrive, destruction is in the fore. They turn any planet into a garbage bin

Progress of any kind will never happen for humanity,

  • @ThePsycheoutFanClub no i wrote: by all means , indulge in whatever activities. But once tax payers money comes into it, the public wants to know whats in it for us. And rightly so. By the way i read that 1600 employees of NASA are facing the lay off soon. They should nt forget to cut the defense budget to a trickle,

  • @ThePsycheoutFanClub some things were an achievement. Penicilin, Asprin, Coke, Antibiotics, Anesthetics, Internet, motorized transport (even i dont have a car) , Aircraft, I have dvd s on similar topics as this vid. No one goes to university just for knowledge and theory. Ppl want to make money with that knowledge. But the knowledge of the universe, however small, is entertainment. So far. i dont think man can travel with the speed of light. That is our limitation.

  • Technology is only useful if it serves all of us and not just a few. Like scientists who get a lot of money for establishing theories that are not really proven. These propped up binoculars are just there for them to gaze at the skies. They re not useful at all to us. They used to say: once we have robots in the industry then we d just sit at home and enjoy ourselves, the reality is; we never had to work so hard for so little, And all the output goes to the chosen few. Its wrong,

  • @lunafringe10 science is waste of money... ok so how are you writing comments on this video? with a computer, internet, electricity, microélectronic, semiconductor, plastic, etc.

with science (also astrophysics, we can explain a lot of things on earth like tides and other many things... so if sciences was a waste of money, you will still be living in a cave and making fire by smaching 2 stones together....

  • @docsharp00 Not all science is a waste of money but this one is. It only pleases the eye. Stuff for dreaming,

its workshop stuff. Without infrared optical tools most of this is not even visible to the eye. No one knows what is being presented to us in such vids and pics. What do i care for instance what goes on in Andromeda? Or other? Life is short and i want to enjoy it.

  • @lunafringe10 cause to this "waste of money" you have 8Mp camera on you Iphone, or the firefighters have IR camera to fight the fire. we have automation of precision, we have high quality mirror for the solar plant, high quality lens for your camera, cause to that scientists made particle coliders, to undertand univers, with these we have all the technology we know today... everything is interacting... also with that research you have less change to have cancers when you take the airplan....

  • For every dollar we spend on the space program, the U.S. economy receives about $8 of economic benefit.

  • @SirGriefALot stats are so deceiving. They are all so very accommodating to those who want to suck up funds

  • @lunafringe10 the Freakonomics guys came up with that figure, they're not trying to get funding for anything.

  • Knowledge production factory. I guess those mountains of information will reach accessible surface in the next century. Why is that surveys are called public? Does that mean the rest of the time surveys are private or military? Stargazing is turning profitable business I guess. For an ordinary person who must produce an output and constantly increase production rate this all is a whole different world of existence. I am still puzzled how does black hole helping to reach an agreement on peace?

  • @Mytallpalmtree I think the knowledge they have now will be absolutely obsolete in 100 years, Nothing happens out there that we can control or even forecast. Except the odd asteroid. we can just gaze in awe.

Apparently now even the black holes (which are not even visible for our eyes but for scientists only) dont even exist. Its all theory.

  • Globular Clusters= Epicly awesome.

ps. Stop feeding the trolls. This video is more good news! They know their stupid bibles cant keep up. They're fu**ing with you guys

  • Just look at Gods creation, wonderful. However, we should only look we need not go in space as God already have a new home waiting for us.

  • @thedarkone2134 God gave me a penis. isnt that wonderful? maybe he'll have a black or Italian penis waiting for me when we i go to this '' new home'' for us. Religion is like america's asshole, shit is DEEP.

  • @thedarkone2134 binoculars are just as good, or a low priced telescope. The sole reason why all this is being built is the strife for domination. It has a military background to a large extent. You dont have to be a genius to know that the US for instance wants to be the number one nation on the planet. Rob the rest of the world blind and bomb whoever is not in line with white house policies,

  • BLT!? Yummy! xD

  • why do we still care about ground telescopes again? Satellite telescopes are more effective and produce better results. The money spent on this would be better spent into promoting companies like virgin galactic. I don't know why people prefer to spend money looking and not getting out there. Seriously, we can only go so far with only the perspective from our planet.

  • @morakdais For the same reason that not every single person on the planet needs to drive a Lamborghini Countach (or pick your car). Not every problem needs The Very Best Telescope In The World, and not everyone has the budget to do it even if they did. Sometimes a fuzzy picture is better than no picture at all.

  • @sachamm you could bid in for time on a satellite for less, that way you could get a more sound picture. When it comes to science, if it worth knowing it should be done right. Unfortunately whatever they are "doing" with this overpriced waste of resources, would not yield any great results, and any result inevitably have to be put into a queue to be verified by a space based telescope.

  • @morakdais There are already too many satellites in space.

  • @lunafringe10 lol can't tell if trolling or just stupid.

  • @morakdais keep guessing.

  • @lunafringe10 sheeeesh... you probably think the LHC is waste of money too....

  • I love this channle

  • This is true human achievement.

  • wow

  • I think you need to stop feeding Lunafringe. Also if you look at his main point, then he actually has one. If one person starves or cant afford a life saving surgery because some money, even if so little, went to NASA or another researching agency, would it be worth it? Plus the only useful research that gets done is through people pursuing their interests not the government sending astronauts to their deaths every other decade. The economy is our future. not NASA. we wont be saved by NASA.

  • @adulby The reason you dont see any rapid advancements is partly due to the funding. Also, technology is just now allowing them to do research from the ground like this video demonstrates. We need to find another planet that is habitable and a way to get there eventually. I'm not saying rapidly, but the sooner the better, so when a real threat approaches we can survive. Most of out current technology comes from this type of research as well, its important.

  • @adulby The NASA program costs a fraction of a cent out of one tax dollar. The pursuit of knowledge and the advancement of our global civilization into a multiplanetary one is worth that and a bit more in my opinion. If a large asteroid hits the earth (an inevitable situation in the cosmic sense) what will happen to us? Mankind would be wiped out. If we expand to Mars and beyond our civilization is safe from extinction.

  • @adulby If I may add, NASA's research can serve to deflect said asteroid. Plans to deal with this are being made as we speak. Although NASA does not affect your everyday life sometimes one must learn to think from a larger perspective to realize that NASA, and space research in general benefits mankind as a whole. We have explored earth and are now beginning to ravage it. If we are not prepared to change our ways we must start looking up. If we dont go its an awful waste of space! Pun intended.

  • @adulby Stop feeding lunafringe? How about stop supporting his illogical ideas? The economy is our future, eh? How about the Republic of Congo's economy? Or Burma? Maybe Indonesia? Oh right, you guys can't think beyond America, I forgot.

NASA, like many other scientific administrations, is bettering our future as a species, not a country. The selfishness and greed of people like you bewilders me. 10% of the Earth's population controls 90% of the wealth...does that seem like a sound economy?

  • @PlayLikeAnimal yes like Nasa makes its findings accessible to Gadaffi and co. If you were right, why is every other country shooting satellites into orbit? Could nt it just call on Nasa to provide the info? I have a lot of doubts and questions but to even ask is too much for a lot of commentators. Accept everything or you are an outcast,

    thats the message,

  • @PlayLikeAnimal the ppl who control most of our and the planets wealth is even in the single digits. Where does all the wealth come from? Scams and exploitation and other. And all the ants who must work for shit money. In return the conglomerates use up all of the planets resources. Which is all ours. Not just theirs. Pollution is the only thing we get out of it. And wait..., a few meagre handouts

  • Awesome!

  • Truely epic.

    Go Go ESO!

  • This is so amazing! So much to see in this Universe. I cannot find the words for the excitement. This is transcendental!

  • Fuk dis shit its fuking borin

  • What the hack is going on here? The money they give is going to the people. Are you all stupid? It's staying in the system. Thousands people get jobs.

  • what good has space exploration done what a waste of resources, we should spend the money on our own people not giving it away to others, wake up!

  • @Jimmyretired

The technology for Fmri scanning came out of space exploration. Think of how much good this incredible technology has done for medicine and non-invasive screening.

  • this video wil be broadcasting on the official netherlands european public tv on nepomroep.eu

  • I got goosebumps already...just imagine the beauty thats yet to be seen...this is exciting!!! I need a beer to celebrate technology!

  • 4:35 thunderf00t? O_0

  • STOP FUCKING WASTING MONEY IDIOTS.

  • @TeoZMuff313 lol u mad?

  • This is great! just wonderful

  • Simply amazing. Excellent work.

  • Someone please tell me if the Image at the 1:23 mark is real.. Could you see this kind of scene with the naked eye?

  • @EurofighterVsRaptor Yes its the location of the mountain that gives the clear sky. The same reason the put the telescopes on that mountain.

  • @EurofighterVsRaptor Yes, that's the view looking toward our galactic center in clear enough skies.

  • @Saerain Omg, I have to experience this for myself :O Thanks for the info =P

  • @EurofighterVsRaptor

That scene might very well be real. Yes. You can see the Milky Way with the naked eye - you just have to be faar away from cities. I'm sure if you google up a few astronomy clubs or something you'll find many places where you can glimpse at the real night sky - not the one we are all used to due to the light pollution of settlements.

  • That image of Omega Centauri is hard not to stare at...

  • AWESOME video glad to know we are making advancements as a species

  • And Jews,Christians and Moslims will keep on worshipping their primitive violent God anyway...Such an ignorants.

  • an old chinese saying is: philosophy is a privilege of kings,

  • @lunafringe10 wtf is that supposed to mean?

  • lunafringe10..... trolling youtube since mommy bought him internet.

  • This will surely benefit man kind.

  • @GaelicHighlander Curiosity did or maybe something else. The first tool primates discovered

was a big bat to bludgeon the competition to death. And all of what you describe did happen

but it didnt drive the primates out of the jungle. Science is being constantly reviewed for authenticity

and so called facts pertaining to our history are frequently refreshed so to speak, We cant really prove

anything, Most of it is plain and simple guess work

  • Good Video. And Science marches on..

  • science isn't a waste of money or time, everything around us was because of science. if it were a waste wed still be in caves

  • @barr65 so science made the primates come out of the jungle i suppose?

  • @lunafringe10 its called "evolution"

  • @barr65 yes ok, evolution.

  • @barr65 Wait, everything around us is because of science? Where was science when the world evolved?

I mean from the beginning and over millions of years. These expenses are not justified. Either there is a blueprint some place as to why theses things are being built or its just a play thing for scientists. What are they hoping to see? And if this is so fantastic, why is the Hubble and the Spitzer telescope in space? Cause the scope of these observatories are limited so why build them?

You fucking kidding me? ever heard of Astrophysics? Studies of dark matter and dark energy?

or Anti matter? String theory? Don't you think it's potentially advantageous to know what the fucking universe is made out of?

Remember it was that kinda stuff that eventually led to modern day atomic theory.

  • @bla34112 well, its all fine, but what are the gains for us? Most ppl dont even know how to add up a few figures. Whats the diff between modern day atomic theory and that of 70 years ago? Fusion is fusion. <its all unravelled. And what of it? Humanity is on the verge of annihilating each other. And the nuclear facilities are proven to be a menace. In the medical area the machines are proven too dangerous because of ensuing radiation exposure. It s progress to science but where to we profit?

  • @lunafringe10

alright.. first of all, stop this "it is proven that...BLANK"

It's not, just cause you believe something, doesnt make it "proven".

Second "it's all unraveled" ????? WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!?!?!

    YOU ARROGANT BASTARD!!

Have you ever heard of Socratic assumption of Ignorance?

Yes, atomic theory has developed a great fucking deal since the 70's, as did our knowledge.

    Just because you haven&#
