Ok, Oasis are a great band, The Beatles are a great band and Phish are a great band. Anyone who can't accept that Phish has musical talent is obviously naive to Phish's music which, if you are naive to a bands music, you should have no right to criticize them in any way, sure, maybe you don't have the patience for intricate classically composed sections or beautifully growing jams, but that's your loss as far as I'm concerned. The late 80's into the mid-90's was the height of live performances for Phish . . . small, intimate venues! Best shows I ever saw had no more than a few hundred people. Their recording success starting in the 90's, though successful, killed any chance of them playing any small venues again. Too bad! It is just not the same seeing them at a large arena. I miss the old Phish!!

The late 80's into the mid-90's was the height of live performances for Phish . . . small, intimate venues! Best shows I ever saw had no more than a few hundred people. Their recording success starting in the 90's, though successful, killed any chance of them playing any small venues again. Too bad! It is just not the same seeing them at a large arena. I miss the old Phish!!

Does Trey have the best voice? No. Do the words make sense? No. You can say the same for Frank Zappa who was one of the single most talented musicians ever.
