  • u fergot about tanker 910

  • Meanwhile in Africa...

  • Chemtrails

  • Perfect for Chemtrail spraying!

  • @c4mp3r0r : perfect for morons comments .....

  • but, will it blend?

  • @izwolle that is the question.

  • @alexmaccoll dududududuuuudududrudududuuu *gay song*

  • @izwolle

    You win sir.

  • Where were they on 9/11?

  • OMGózní chemtrails

  • Seems like a good cover up ;-)

  • i'm cool

  • Giving one to homeland security or FEMA WTF

  • This ad happens to be the most 90's ad I have ever seen, yet it was made in 2002.

  • Wait, where do I buy one?

  • the majority of you miss the point that WHATEVER it is coming out of planes - it is leaving SOMETHING in the atmosphere which is like a vital organ. It is NOT NATURAL - end of story. You argue for or against Chemtrails - well you may as well join forces and argue that the it would be better to have nothing left behind planes. thank you.

  • they should send one of these to the Japanese nuclear reactor. Less exposure time and much more effective drop capacity than the helos they tried to use. =P

  • So they disguise them as fire fighting planes.

  • FUCK !

  • evergreen is involved in outfitting planes for SAG aerosoling too

  • I wan't one of those for christmas!!! lol

  • which fire fighter . when firefighter have to drop watterload self now where

  • Super tanker uses firefighting! It's super affective!!

  • AHAHAHAHAHAHA i love how they're like "the 747 is the most fuel efficient sub-sonic aircraft.."

Japan Airlines and many other airlines such as Cathay Pacific retired or lowered their useage of the 747 BECAUSE it was not fuel efficient xD

  • @ALexpWTFISTHAT You been a brain surgeon very long. Stick to your crayons!

  • @sakoshooter48 the fck? how does that relate to my comment? I actually work in aerospace so i KNOW. i don't guess. and fix ur grammar while you're at it

  • @ALexpWTFISTHAT Pound/air mile hauled the 747 IS the most efficient aircraft out there, period. Grammar is good enough for you isn't it? The aircraft JAL and Cathay grounded were their series -100 747's. It relates to your comment as it is not a factual comment. Which "Aerospace" function do you serve, smurf squad possibly? Aircraft buffer, of course, not to be mistaken with a fluffer. We are waiting with baited breath!!

  • How about they use an upgraded version? maybe an Airbus A380 orthe Lockheed C-5

  • cost rice up cus inflation ofc doh.

  • IL 76 TD delivers 150,000 gallons

  • @MasterJahannam Dude.. you probably mean 150,000 pounds. 1 gallon of water = 8.35 pounds so 150,000 gallons = 1, 252,000 pounds. Over twice the payload of the AN-225. 150,000 Pounds = 17,964 gallons. Below the 747. BTW the reported capacity of the IL-76 is 13,000 gallons.

  • @MasterJahannam YOU ARE A DOPE SMOKING IDIOT! 150,000GALLONS X 7.2 LBS/GAL = 1,080,000 POUNDS.

  • and what's the way to refill it? Even land and start and land an start???? What a shit. Russain BE 200 / BE 220 is alo big and tanks in fly on water.. So what?

  • that piece of shit cost us 100k$ ea trip

    here in israel...

  • @REALLRAPMUSIC

this cost you shit, deadbeat...freeloder, unemployed scum

  • @REALLRAPMUSIC it is much better than that: 200k each flight!

  • You convinced me. Where can I purchase one?

  • תסתכלו בסרטון :"the middle east problem" ב youtube

    חובה!!

  • Now imagine if you replace the water with NAPALM!!

  • @lolvks opps wrong hose, i thought you wanted to create a fire to show off the plane

  • And folio hat wont help :(

  • I wont to order 1200 send them to Canada the US has no plans to invest in there country..we do.

  • I think the turn around for this aircraft will take too long. Yes it does hold a large payload but the turn around time will risk the fire becoming out of control again and breaking containment lines. It's better to have many small aircraft constantly.

  • @firemanscoot

Whats worse? doing nothing or start building this Bomber.

We need it and more now that its getting hotter.

The Russians could have realy needed this this summer

they lost over 1.000.000 acres..I know exactly what you are saying

and I can respect your opinion %100.

With the air line companys going out of buisness there are quite a few good planes to work from.

  • You guys have no idea on firefighting. The plane should not dump s heavy load otherwise you risk shadowing. The load should be dropped to form a heavy rain full at the most. This will raise the humidity and suppress the fire so ground crews can get closer to finish the nock down and blackout.

  • @flapsdwn

First off, perhaps I spoke too soon. After having seen the 747 drop on the Station fire last year and more recently on on the Crown fire I admit it has its place in the tool box. All the VLAT's (DC-10, 747, and Martin Mars) have there place. The beast sure can paint a ridge line. But even you have to admit that it is still used as a bit of a media stunt. Maybe this fall we'll find out how she does in the wind.

  • So what was the point about that

  • They can brag all they wont about these fire bombers but the truth is we need more, lots more!.

..if you had 100 planes in the air you could KILL the fire.

  • @keefer2111 you say what is the hard fact man .....if we as humanity would do what it would take to care for the planet , we would admid its money that is keeping our humanity out of real progress and developement , just like this , if they wouold do what it takes to kill a fire at once , wichis possible........they will tell you its the money that is the problem.....that money wich will bring humanity in great danger , one day it will....real developement go,s faster than this of today,s

  • Hmmm, if it can do stuff for oil spills, then where was it for the horizon spill, oh yeah, sitting in Arizona!!

  • @TBA810ASx Don't be stupid. You don't get to see the chemtrail planes. Classified!

  • @flyinDPOD I can see them most days. 3 or 4 planes flying very close and turn on and off the "contrail" making strange formations of clouds. Maybe they helping us mabe not.

  • @TBA810ASx This is Evidence youtube.com/watch?v=urP3WSPujUg

  • @TBA810ASx Whatever they are they are NOT this plane. This plane is designed to dump a lot of water very quickly onto the ground. If you look for the closeup pictures of the nozzles, they are huge! If you're going to spread chemicals at high altitude, you would want to atomize your spray to a fine mist in a controlled manner, not dump it all out at once. This is a firefighting water/retardant bomber, noting more.

  • @TBA810ASx enough tin foil hat bullshit

  • @TBA810ASx No, fire suppression = good. Chemtrail = bad.

  • how it can refil water?is this for just one drop ??is it refil by sea like the older?

  • @tubelamar It has to land, but it holds SO much water that it can make multiple passes over the target before having to refill. It can drop as much or as little of it's load as desired. They explain from 3:00 to 3:45

  • So has this system actually been used anywhere?

  • haha wtf was that supposed to be dropping on Portland

  • rainbow at 5:27

  • @sololamer hahahaha... wow.

  • he said retard teehee :P

  • The, erm, Airbus Beluga..

Try employing THAT to put out fires :O

  • the 747 would still actually hold more

  • Sounds like the elite will use this against use too. So here is your warning. Chemical ali still working.

  • I'll take it

  • Fake

  • It is funny how they big up all the fantastic plus points for civilian use when this is just another military project that can be used by homeland security, FEMA and the military. They would not hesitate to drop chemicals or bio agents on friend or foe alike or stage a so called terrorist hijacking to enforce dictatorship rule under the already established Model State Emergency Health Powers Act and National Emergencies Act. Please look up these acts and tell me if you think you live in freedom.

  • There are no chemicals in contrails...the white "trails" you see being left behing airplanes at altitude is only condensation of atmospheric water that has been heated by the plane's engines and therefore made visible like the steam you see escaping from your mom's teapot spout. That is why you only see it at high altitude where the temp is cold thus changing the atmospheric water's temperature enough to produce condensation trails...or trails of condensated water.

  • @perryinjax Right and when they fly over a bunch of times and the trails just don't fade away...that's just condensation right?

  • @Skazislb Yes..they dont fade away because of the extreme low temperature at altitude....actually it would fade away quicker if it was some sort of toxic chemical, because they are less susceptible to crystallization at the same temperatures as water.

  • @Skazislb Yes, it is i am happy to say.

While there is definitely pollution emitted from jet engines, it is mostly invisible to the naked eye, especially at altitude. The heated air from jet engines actually forms the same process that is a cloud in the sky, and they do not fade away either..

haven't you ever watched a group of coulds in the sky move overhead, seeing funny shapes and things in the outline of a cloud? Same thing.

  • Respond to this video... if it were pollution, it would fade away, dissipating into the atmosphere and harming the planet, but con trails are just water vapor, thus they don't fade away..

  • They are called contrails not chemtrails you dumb treehugger!!!

  • I think I'll buy two.

  • ever heard of binoculars? oh and i don't get paid im a student.

  • maybe your paranoid

  • they should go with a few c-5's and be ok

  • So this is the plane I keep seeing photos of? Dumping huge loads at low altitudes.

These planes have dual-use just like anything else the military might have. Forget planes for bio-weapons drop, just imagine a few, small, specially equipped rockets they currently have that are declassified.

  • o...k this video was. cool.. interesting..

  • This is so stupid. Here is a claim of billions of dollars every year. Why the don't buy about 20 Russian Be-200 fire fighting planes and that fleet could be anywhere on the west side USA in few hours. That small Be-200 can fill with water in seconds. 20 of them would cost less that one year of fire damage. Check video of this plane.

  • @zvast "This is so stupid.." Why? You make the claim... I'd be interested in why you feel that way. The "west" uses the former sviet heavy lift (antonov?) because its economical. Why would we, in the USA, use a shitload of Be200's? First and foremost - to fly on our soil, firefighting aircraft have to be approved not only by the FAA but by the Dept on Interior. Even aircraft made HERE (based at RYN outside TUS) were grounded after accidents. The Be-22? "That is so stupid." Jeezus

  • PAUSE 1:42 EVERGREEN AIRBORNE LASER

  • I took a mega piss after 7 scotches on an international jumbo jet flight over the Pacific a while back - must've looked like that over the sky too...

  • Saw this on the Station Fire on Angeles National Forest yesterday, impressive!

  • If you believe in chemtrails,

    you are a RETARD

  • here here

  • sorry for the stupidity. but could you elaborate on a "chemtrail?" i don't even know what that is.

  • 5:50

It looks like it is a Jumbo taking a pee !

  • i meant to say the cost would be 40-60 million to lease to cal fire vvv

  • This insnt going to lower the cost of fighting wild fires, the cost alone of renting this thing is probably around 10-20 million, and they would only bring out the 747 when the has fire burned for over three weeks, it would help the fires drastically but raise the cost.

  • Out of curiosity I watched this a few weeks ago. Nobody wanted to lease it. I wonder if that has changed in the past week or so? Maybe it is not perfect, but are 1000s of men and women better? When a forest fire gets to nearly surround a city, it might be time to try something new. What if the fire set off a fire storm?

  • its going to California

  • When are they gonna make an a380 version?

  • i doubt they will do it anytime soon, the a380 is a new aircraft evergreen uses retired aircraft, the 747 is a better choice because the flight deck is on the upper deck and passenger and luggage section is occupied by large water tanks

  • Heh, I can see your point. I wouldn't want to be on the same floor as 10's of thousands of gallons of water... could be hazardous.

  • Would make a great chemtrail delivery jet

  • yes, if the chemical you were delivering was so weak you literally had to soak your target to have an effect.

  • There is video of this plane in action at myfoxla-dot-com.

  • very expensive. what is next boeing 747 school busses? but anyhow, very impressive!

  • they should make school fucking helicoptors im tired of riding the damn bus

  • Ok, I'm sold!! I want one!!!

  • get this shit to socal please

  • it's already here, saw it on TV today

  • fires are raging out of control in california now. why isn't this plane being used?

  • We must make prompt use of the two T 10 airtankers we now have available. The outdated fire management we now have is unacceptable. Our many wild fires could be quickly extinquished without loss of life and property.

  • its going to start flying here today

  • really!? how do you know bra?

cal fire has not even leased the evergreen supertanker. all they have currently is two older, dc-10 based tanker 910's and neither one of them is on the job as of yesterday.

  • because they keep saying on all the news stations that its supposed to arrive on the firelines today, most likely the north side of the fire near Acton.

And I've seen the dc-10 flying already here. Seen it on the tv and with my own eyes. reports are that both will be using Fox Air Field in Lancaster

  • dude i've seen p-3 dropping fire retardant but neither the tanker 910's or the evergreen supertanker. r u sure?

  • I know what a DC-10 looks like. We have one at work. I'm watching a news conference right now. They are talking about getting a 2nd DC-10 on the lines, and that they will bring the 747 in from Sacramento when they deem it needed. Said it was a 55 minute flight once they call it.

  • awesome. thanks for the info bro.

  • Did this company ever sell their services to the Federal Government? I recall that there. was controversey over the plane. Most likely, because it costs too much.

  • They should run that bird over Stumptown for real. Cool everyone off!

  • I just seen this plane in Edmonton International airport, we watched the demo they had on the waterbomber, i even got to push it around...what an incredible aircraft. Filling 77,000 liters in 30 minutes wow incredible!

  • When yo momma needs a shower they call in this plane

  • alfredopt is right....how many times do you need a "25,000 foot swath?"

  • Which are the bad things of the supertanker?

  • No it wont really work

But it is really going to look good on the evening news

  • @Boardingmedic "No.. it won't really work but it looks good on the evening news?" Do you redcard every year? Have any backgrouynd in firefighting? Just curious where you base your vast experience and knowledge to post such a vastly superior comment to everyone else. FYI, I'm not talking shit without knowing like some here. Nat'l Reg CEP. IAFF here. My dept has mutual aid w/ the dept responding to evergreen AND I see this equip as a pilot. Your expertise is?

  • @flapsdwn

Having now seen this aircraft used on both the Station and Crown fires in the last year I'll agree it has its place. A tool in the tool box. Sure does paint a ridgeline nice and thick. I may have spoken a bit soon, I'll admit that. Maybe this fall we'll get to see how she does in the wind. The VLAT’s (747, DC-10 and Marlin Mars) have there place.

  • @flapsdwn

  • the only way I see this working proper is a fleet of these tankers at continuous flow bombing the fire

  • it can't refill in a lake or something... so it's a failed project... this is supposed to carry 240m gallons.

there are in service many years ago fire fighting hydroplanes capable of carrying 150m gallons that can be refilled anywhere in minutes. it would take hours to refiel this 747.

  • With that announcers voice I keep waiting for him to say "Snake your mission is...."

  • lol

  • UOW, whatta mindblowing money maker!!!!!!!!

  • shite,,where were they on 911

  • this is an ad, who buys airplanes like this...

  • no, the 747 and dc-10 is much better

  • LOL, i know better plane! Look for Beriev Be-200

  • It slices, it dices...

    ;-)

  • thats what we need in australia

a long range super heavy piece of firefighting equipment

  • That's be impressive to watch a 747 at that low an altitude

  • partyman147

hey wat if i dnt have a bed lol wat if i have a mattress lol so wat is he going to do lol

  • This plane would put thousands of jumpers out of work. They pray for "Out of Control Fires !!!!!!!

  • The 2002 Arizona Rodeo/Chedeski fires were set by a fire fighter who wanted work (Chedeski).and by a hiker who was lost (Rodeo). The two fires merged and burned 467,000 acres of Ponderosa pine. Jumpers don't just pray for out of control fires... They start them.

  • Very cool

  • ...... And imagine the terrible fule consume on the low alt.

  • Yes, and imagine the terrible spelling as well.

  • ...Sorry for not spelling my fourth language fluently

    idiot

  • haha, thats for being ignorant Sheza.

  • Suppose I deserved it!!

  • actually it does better than what you think on the fuel part

  • well I hope seaworld can buy one of those to spray on everyone JK

  • lol

  • Just let it all burn!

  • Why are some people here thinks Evergreen International is the same as EVA Airways of Taiwan. Evergreen International is a US company based in Oregon. They do special aerial operations with 747s including Air Force One.

  • Evergreen have nothing to do with "Airforce One"! The USAF operate 2 747-200s (C-25A), which are called "Airforce One" only when the President of the US is on Board. The USAF is looking to Replace these 747s with either the 747-8i or the Airbus A380-800.

But your correct Evergreen Aviation is not the same as EVA Air of Taiwan.

  • He means they use the 747 with special modifications LIKE air force one.

  • Actually, the aircraft type is a VC-25A.

  • Its a Boeing 747-273C freighter converted for firebombing, its been took out of the firefighter role now

Evergreen have bought a 747-300 To firebomb :)

  • Is that the Evergreen super tanker?

  • Comment removed

  • When was that film done? 2002/2003?? I think even then airbus had more economic airplanes that a 747-200 ...

  • They need to fill that think with candy and fly it over fairs. lol

  • Would that be "death by chocolate?"

  • Nah more like JuJu Bees

  • the only catch is that they are only testing this thing, it hasn't even been used on a real fire yet. and if the fire is big enough to need a 747 to respond to it, it is definitely big enough to create its own weather patterns and vortices within the fire area. not to mention that usually there are wind gusts upward of 50 or even 70 mph on hot santa ana days, which already forces the DC10 out of service on those days. just seems like its going to cost a lot of money, for very little usage....

  • like everything else the government funds

  • The government isnt funding it that is why the company is in such deep shit. And why they have had huge layoffs, I know I am one.

  • don't really know what the company was thinking with this one. Water is heavy HEAVY. So you can;t carry a great deal on one trip. so the firefighting ability of an aircraft is dependant on how long it takes to refill and return to the fight. With a 747 that means flying to a major airport.... not ideal.

  • hah, thats portland, oregon its flying over at 5:40, my home town

  • impressive

  • Whats the name of this tanker again?? i didnt quite catch it the 300th time?

  • im gonna be a stupid person and reply by saying an evergreen super tanker

  • This jet is BETTER than any russian fire fighting jet!

  • This is a great ideal, 747s and DC10s should be use as tanker. Evergreen was reuseing this 747 for cargo runs.

  • russian Beriev BE-200 is MUCH better!

  • the propaganda in this is straight out of a B-movie. it's all about the good they're gonna do with these planes. righttttt.

  • ...how is it propaganda? It's clearly a commercial for the company, if that's what you mean. What bad will they do with these planes?
