Guy where I live had the same problem, multiple poli signs stolen from his yard.

He ended up rigging the last one with an electrical charge and putting a camera on it, turns out it was a guy in a truck pulling up and sending his little son out to grab them, shocked the hell out of the kid when he grabbed it, one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
