@Legend8768 Yea, i cannot agree more... i'm 16 and i've already clocked countless hours on my market bike... but sadly, i have to stop for a while cos i snapped my rear derauiller and broke the bearings in the hub after a mere 3 ft drop. But i had a good run... next bike in a few months will be a norco sasquatch :D cheers

Hello mate. Get into it now, it will give you a big head start, you'll just regret it otherwise.

You don't need a good bike to begin with, a shitty hardtail is still a bike, and you'll learn faster than you would if you'd had a DH bike from the start.

Full face helmet, gloves and knee pads and you're set. Start off small, work up - it's what I did and I'm racing now and doing ok.

Seriously just start now, by my age you'll be a new Steve Peat, just ride now!

Earlier in the year she had a head first disagreement with a truck.

She survived it and she hasn't quit, it just takes time to recover from that sort of thing, she'll be back and winning races before you know it.
