Tools of Destruction is the first of the Future series. I'd start with it. Quest For Booty can be downloaded off of the Playstation Store. I'd get all three Ratchet and Clank Future games and play them in order, IMO.
I wouldn't mind if they redid ratchet.. maybe made him look a bit more real instead of animated, but please... please tell me that's not the new ratchet..

The Lombax in this trailer is called Azimuth. We don't know how Azimuth and Ratchet are related, though. It isn't his dad, though. His parents are clearly dead at the end of ToD.
I see what you're saying. Deadlock was definitely the least like the others, had the worst story, and not enough creative guns, or that many guns at all.
But I did like it because of the co-op.
Also, I just liked the way it played and the levels for some reason. I felt like it was most intense.

I haven't played Ratchet and Clank since the second game. I feel ashamed, having not gotten back into the series since then because I LOVED the game, especially the design of Ratchet. I personally think that is ratchets dad because in the picture u can see ratchet on the left with the same wrench in all the other games and on the right u can see that that is the lombax holding the device because in the picture the one on the right is holding the same wrench staff and usually parents hold those types of pictures with them
I liked the PS2 Ratchet and Clank games and I haven't played any of the PS3 games because I don't have a PS3 (go figure) but this game is looking a lot more serious than the likes of "Up Your Arsenal" or "Deadlocked, my favorites :). When will I get a PS3... sigh. Being 15 and wasting all of your money on an Xbox 360 is terrible because PS3 is better, for me atleast... I don't want to start anything.
You just got to accept with what you have and what will happen, just think about the people who haven't got a PS3 but a Xbox 360 Elite instead, I feel sorry for their disturbing, thilthy and entirely stupid choice of taste, the three best PlayStation 3s are firstly the 60GB as it can play all DVDs, CDs and Blu-ray DVDs, second is 160GB as it can't do those but has amazing memory and the only legally way you can get it is in the Uncharted Package, thirdly is the 80GB, just less memory (I have 80)
Just because it may be the last game in the TRILOGY doesn't mean it's the last Ratchet and Clank game. It's just the last game of the current story arc.

I don't think it could be ratchet or his dad. My threory is that they are a number of different species with similar resemblances to the lombax, each with their own skills. This would explain Angela, who looked similar but had no visible tail and a different ear shape. could also be that these people are from a different dimension, exlaining why the dimentionator was kept intact, if broken, at the end of TOD. So they could fix it. Hope the story turns out AWSOME. with insomniac it usually does.

I don't think it could be ratchet or his dad. My threory is that they are a number of different species with similar resemblances to the lombax, each with their own skills. This would explain Angela, who looked similar but had no visible tail and a different ear shape. could also be that these people are from a different dimension, exlaining why the dimentionator was kept intact, if broken, at the end of TOD. So they could fix it. Hope the story turns out AWSOME. with insomniac it usually does.

that can't be ratchets dad, his dad was killed already and in the watch the lombax on the right looks like ratchet alot but is wearing armor and looks grown up, if it was his dad the picture would be of ratchet as a baby...its probably just a lombax and in the next game your going to find the lombax race where clank is

All the Lombaxes had wrenches.
On Fastoon, a lot of the architecture was designed after wrenches.

I don't think it's Ratchet. Different colour, different facial structure, different voice.
I don't think it's Ratchet's dad. This Lombax had a picture of his son in the case of his watch.
I think this game might have something to do with the return of the Lombaxes...

One of the very few series out there with NO bad or disappointing installments. Can't wait. The story looks like one of the best yet, but I'm still mainly looking forward to the amazing weaponry.
