Infrared(IR) beam are working better performance with Black&White, but your camera suppose to have a mechanical IR-Cut filter to perform a clear picture at night, otherwise picture in night mode with IR will be a little bit blur.

I suppose you chose the option of go to black and white picture when in night mode?
Is there any advantage in that over color picture?
