if you dont mind my input...the wire that shocks you....if you cover that with some Electrical tape.... you wont get shocked. and if you use an igniter from a bic lither it can fault or not be strong enough...i would advise making your own ignitor since a bic lighters using static electricity it doesnt always get hot enough to light the hairspray. I would say take a 9VOLT battery and double strip copper wiring.

yo two things: 1, if you fill it up with water in between it'll increase your oxygen content by getting 100% of the CO2 out. 2, propane is the propellent in hairspray. If you can use straight propane (like in a blowtorch) it'll woof better. My dad and I made one that launches potatoes/apples about 300 yards (yeah, like 3 football fields) using propane. Also, in an unrelated note, I like your videos.
