Now that I think of it, some other games in 1997 weren't as developed as this game. I mean in reference to games like Daggerfall or Quake 2. Daggerfall had terrible graphics compared to Trespasser. Still, it had a better story.
But I had in mind that the plot of Jurassic deals with genetic engneering. And the writers of the Trespasser story didn't know about the Homo floresiensis.
I found it quite amusing that someone makes a joke about a artifical "produced" hobbit race and few years later (by pure random) a Hobbit-like (as close as the reality can get)species is discovered, which could revive this

Of course its a Tolkien reference in the game.
