You know what I hated about the new version? As a whole I actually liked the new version it would have been better than the old but it's just how they made Damien behave!! he acted as if he already knew he was the Devil's son sent to earth as opposed to the old version where he acted liked a normal kid, why didn't he act like a normal kid in this new version? That's what threw me off about the movie in general it was good but his character played the typical demonic child which is why I hated it

I don't see what the point was of modernizing this classic movie because the original was set in a more suitable seventies era. This pathetic imitation used all the nuances in our modern times and it just seemed really sad. A fucking scooter instead of a tricycle. shit like that. The film actually only proves how professional an actor gregory peck was.
