For some reason when I play the scarecrow song at that exact spot the scarecrow does not appear. Is there something you have to do other than meet him as kid Link and make the song? I have tried about 12 times and no response.

hey i forgot to talk to the scarecrow when i was a kid but then i went to adult link then went back as young link then i learned his song but i went as adult link again but then the song isn't in my ocarina

This is why I hate this fucking game. Like if you were playing this legit, how the fuck would you know you're supposed to play at that exact moment the scarecrow song? I didn't even know it at the time I did this dungeon, and I'm a completionist so I spent like an hour trying to uncover the entire map, and it turns out I would have never legitly figured it out on my own. Fucking garbage.

First of all; on the dungeon map there is a massive empty room above you, making the player think 'oh, maybe there's something I've missed in this room'. Then, you see two platforms above you that are empty; both of which are too far away to jump to but Navi goes green around one of them. Then, exhausting all the possibilities, you would play the scarecrow song when Navi goes green and hence, problem solved.

If you by any chance missed getting the scarecrow song it's because you haven't tried talking to the NPCs around you. In my first playthrough of this game, I talked to everyone around me to get hints; now I only talk to the necessary ones.

It's not garbage, it just takes some time to think and exhaust all your possibilities. There are always clues, no matter how subtle; and it's just a matter of whether you realise them or not.

@MiyukiWolfire took me forever to defeat one! I had to use two fairies for one flare dancer at that point i didn't know what to do then i knew but once it was defeated i never knew it would explode! if i had dodged that explosion i would never need that second fairy

Go to lake hylia as a child and locate the scarecrow. Teach it a song and then come back to that scarecrow as an adult and play it that same song. Then, you'll be able to summon the scarecrow at some specific points.

As a child, you teach the scarecrow (the one closest to the water) an 8-note song. Then, as an adult, go back to it and play it that same song. This then makes the scarecrow appear at some specific places. If you're just having trouble spawning it, then... keep trying really. xD

Just get as high and as close to it as possible.

Hey Jake, I would like to know what is your opinion about the changes made from v1.0 and v1.1-v1.2 of OoT.

You know, about Ganondorf's blood color, the chant from the Fire Temple and mostly the one that I thought was the coolest, the change of the moon symbol on the boxes and Mirror Shield for that of a diamond or something like that.

Eh, they're subtle changes so I never really thought about it... xD

They're pretty cool things, especially the blood in a Zelda game. It showed that Nintendo was taking a much darker approach with the original game.

The chant wasn't islamic it resembled it. However the music was changed in the second version before the game was even released (even the gold cart) so really we don;t know WHY it was changed but it just was changed in the second version
