when you play bayonetta in 720p in ps3 the frame rate is little more fast

Even when I installed the game it cut down the loading times but it still felt like it took forever, can anyone tell me whats the loading like in the 360 version and please don't be a total cockend over which system is better.

This may sound like a silly question, but how big is this patch? Furthermore, does it simply make the game load faster after patching, or does the patch allow one to install to HDD? Kinda running low on space. My GF purchased this game for 360 at the time due to the better loading, but I feel Hack 'n Slashes are best played on a Sony system. Might make a swap of version at Gamestop or something. =P

I imagine they will as long as they sell enough of the first printing. I don`t see them scrapping the current discs to mske way for the fixed version though. Your best bet is probably a greatist hits version.

@xylonirgium You might be able to DL the patch directly from the playstation 3 website and update via USB. It worked for me with Bioshock and Fat Princess.

I haven't seen any framerate problems or tearing really and I was playing this game as soon as it came out. Perhaps the PS3 model itself or the care given matters in this. This update did help alot though with the loading lag bit there though. Thanks for the upload comparison, hopefully this will persuade more people to get the PS3 version :).

The patch really works, I timed the loading times before and after. To load the clocktower chapter before installing the game it took 20 seconds to load. When I installed the game it took 11 seconds to load the clocktower level. Thank god.

All you do is insert the disk, whenever an update comes out, your system will connect to the internet and immediately prompt you to install it.

Load times totally ruined it.. I was literally going to bail midway through my first playthrough, I was so bothered by them... Awesome they patched it! It goes to show how important pace and rhythm are, and how a bad interface can kill a great game.

THe graohics are a nice plus but those load times had to go....they werent so bad for a 1 time playthrough but once you start skipping around levels and retrying in order to unlock higher rateing it was unbearable

I was waiting to get the game either in the bargain bin, or if a patch ever came out, even though I'm a huge fan of Hideki Kamiya / Platinum Games. I wasn't about to buy a 360 when I have a PC/PS3.

Yeah, I'm still wondering if it's possible to patch that. Honestly, I wouldn't lose sleep if we didn't get a patch for it, the only real part I can remember it being terrible at is the opening scene with the clock tower.
