I am a big fan of Al Bowlly. Started to hear of him when the goodnoght sweetheart program started to mention his name. Many e-bay purchases since, I have almost all of his and Ray Nobles tunes on cd. Thanks for posting this fantastic performance.
A immaculate performance by Noble and Bowlly and what good sound reproduction on HMV - an expensive buy during the Depression years but worth the money.
With all this brilliance how can they go wrong indeed? G, I think most Americans believe that without the antagonistic Bush, relationship with Europe will be naturally close and amiable.
Second try...I love Al Bowlly, how sad he was killed inthe Blitz. Are you really at the point where you're casting T? :-)) One of these days we'll connect by phone, yes?

I think this is in the top 10 of Nobles' hundreds of records and I've heard almost all of them.

Exquisitely refined as all Noble performances ... "noblesse oblige" as they say in French :-)
